Is this the lowest point of Australian tennis? probably only the Demon to root for past Tuesday.

Why? It improves the tournament? Less about the antics and more about the tennis

Nah having less eyeballs on a tournament does not improve the tournament.

As far as Australian tennis, there have been far worse points than this. The late 2000's say hello.

Absolutely not. 10 or so years ago was so dire.
Just unfortunate with Barty retiring, Kyrgios pulling out, Tomljanovic too.
There’s plenty of positives for Australia.
Kubler is world number 80, O’Connell is 78. De Minaur can go deep.
Women’s have some bright players.
It’s not all doom and gloom

I don't think it does. Deep runs by Aussies boosts viewership and interest in the entire competition. The best players will get their due in week 2.

Meh give me the best players rather than the Australians. I don’t mind Kyrigos but I hate having doubles on every second night and the crowd are woeful at those matches. Plenty of exciting players regardless of him being out

Do we think they will update the schedules for tomorrow?

Kudla vs Saffiulin is not really a night match on prime court material.

Would have thought they move Zrevev or potentially the Kokkinakis match across
I think they will. They did for the first day when Tomljanovic withdrew. They moved FAA to last on JCA

Hoping so, got a reserved seat on John Cain tomorrow.

Happy with the first match though 😂

Yeah, De Minaur has the 7pm John Cain match now

I thought they already had. I looked soon after Nick's withdrawal announcement.

The two main night-matches (for men) are the Djokovic & De Minaur matches.
