I've got tickets for tonight, somehow I don't think it's going to be able to live up to the last two nights, but I've got my fingers crossed for another classic.

Also going tonight, Im almost want to see Lleyton get thrashed because if he goes down in an epic 5 Set match you just know the media will laud his status as a 'battler'. Lleyton winning is unthinkable

Maria Kirilenko ties up the game against number 6 seed Anna Chakvetadze.
It was a tight first set, both women doing very well on their service games.
It went into a first set tie breaker in which Anna successfully won.

The second set was much different though, Anna comfortably held her first service game but then Kirilenko went beserk and won all six games in the set after that.

Kirilenko had the pleasure to serve first in the deciding third set and looked shaky eventually getting broken, Anna likewise looked shaky on her first service game for the set, no doubt lacking confidence from her poor second set. She also got broken.
The match then got turned on it's head when Kirilenko broke Anna three times in a row whilst holding her on service games inbetween to win. Game, Set and Match.
Two Womens Singles upsets already today.
6-7 (6-8), 6-1, 6-2

The media will have a field day with that match how ever it goes. Baghdatis is huge copy for them as well at the moment.

kusneztova is ok. imo only because of the sydney final :thumbsu:
davedenko is a loser. no1 on tour likes him and most crouds hate his guts not allowing him 2 play on a big court until the 4th round +
loved it when no1 would sponser him until he was number 3 for about 4 months,. :)

Bandwagon? I got him at $501 to win the tournament before it started. Doubt he will go all the way but at those odds you had to have a little on him. Should have been no longer than half that price.

lol hes going to loose to nadal easy. nadals favourite opponent is a hard hitting guy with little top spin and kolsh fits that bill perfectly. imo (as a nadal fan) i was sad when i saw the draw and andy was in the same quarter as nadal  but with andy out and a guy who cant beat nadal in, nadal is a shoe in for the final :D:D:D

You are wrong. Kohls gameplay is identical to Federer, he will take Nadal to the wire.

Time and time again, day after day, night after night, we are constantly reminded:

Men's tennis >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Women's tennis

this would have to be one of sebastichoke groschoke's worst chokes yet.

forget serving for the match twice against kiefer, or holding match point against clement. this was tanking of epic proportions.

match fixing anyone? blake to win in 5 was paying a fair bit.

To be honest, i've really been enjoying the womens matches...
Even todays game between Kirilenko and Chakvetadze was great to watch!

Whilst in the mens singles division I really couldn't get into the Blake - Grosjean match.
Dunno why but i just don't like watching the two of them play.

blake is a tool of epic proportions

he's just fish or genepri with a little bit of genetically-related "popularity"

Blake wins from 2 sets down in the first time in his career.

Haha did you just call that at 30-0?
Doesn't matter though cos he won i guess...

12th Seed Blake beats Grosjean in five sets.
4-6. 2-6, 6-0, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2

Hopefully Marcos kills Lleyton tonight.

Fernando Gonzalez struggling against Marin Cilic of Croatia.

Down 2-0 and 2 sets to 1.

Game. Set. Match to Marin Cilic.

He's only 19 and ranked 57 in the world.

He's definitely one to look for in the future.

Tough choice. Rather watch the beuty of Ivanovic, or watch the skills of Federer. I rather watch Ivanovic. Don't change the game Ch7!
