Yep thats the way to go put crap on a second gamer when you have a bloke like Lockyer kicking to a 50/50 in the dying seconds of the game

We don't have a player named J. Brown.
rather than spending resources on teaching somebody to kick..... i wonder if it's worth picking someone who can kick to start off with... ..Everything can be tought and improved, including kicking and decision making under pressure. However the player needs to want to improve.
The problem is that their disposal skills under pressure will not improve in the 2s as the pressure there is nowhere near the AFL level.
But at the end of the day, it all comes down to the player. He needs to want to improve. In Barham's case he needs to want to practice his kicking instead of going down to Bells beach during his spare time. It is all down to the player and choices they make.
^ Thomas' disposal is excellent, he just has no left foot.
Bryan's disposal is very good, he just takes half an hour to make a decision.
Maxwell's disposal is very good.
We don't have a player named J. Brown.
Both the times Thomas used his left foot he actually hit a target. The first one occurred when he was running at full pelt along the wing and had no other choice but to use his opposite foot. The resultant kick ended up in Medhurst's(?) arms about 45 meters out from goal.^ Thomas' disposal is excellent, he just has no left foot.
Just another one to add to our list of poor disposers at our club.
Toovey
Barham

All are poor/unreliable user's of the footy or kick to poor options regularly.
Barham wasn't the only offender. Against Brisbane Lions & again in yesterdays game, there were others who kicks missed their targets and couldn't mark or control the ball.can see your point of view but just get pissed off when everybody blames the young blokes for loosing when most of the time its the experience blokes who make bigger mistakes and its the call to drop them or they are useless
One thing my son noticed about the game, that Leon and Cox must be friends, as they kept kicking to one another. It got me thinking, I never noticed there to be a high number of passes from Cox to Leon, or visa versa, but I remember when Ben Johnson was at the top of his game, I swapped him for Heath Shaw, win for me, but I was amazed how often the two used each other. Clubs sometimes fragment into smaller groups, having some players looking after other good friends within the club, by kicking to them. You can bring a single player in or out of a game, if the coach's direction, is to kick his way at all cost, and therefor, friends try to do that as much as they can, by themselves. They trust in some players more than others. It is almost comical, the way that players have been facing Leigh Brown to receive the kick, only to change their minds, and kick it to the second or third option. Should not be happening, but it is, and I wouldn't be suprised if there is some fragmentation happening down at Lexus. Need a shake up does the Pies.

Maxwell is in our top 5 best set shots for goal at the club. Fact.
