Poor performance from what I saw so far. A bad loss. Did the big Sandy ruck Jamar dominate? Burton off the ground in last. Out of gas. For a big man he seems to spend too much time on his knees. (Only really muddy player)

Harris injured grion in third, but came back on.

Amazed and glad Vardy is not playing seniors. Always kills us. Kicked 4 or 5.

Walsh a couple and goals but not many possies.

Only send last quarter and a bit. Will watch rest now.

hey chops would you be able to give a repot on who played well etc as i couldnt make it to the game and wasnt able to watch it on tv.

Thanks

I was at the game, and BRUTON didnt play as good as he did last week. None of the team really played good. I thought brad murphy played better today.
Glad moorcroft and vardy played today.:D

Ok my bulldog players report. It might be a bit of dogs breakfast as I saw on TV, missed the part when Sandy came back.

Wondering if Harris's injury was a turning point in the game, as he was playing well in 1st half?

Moorcroft, Vardy, Jamar and Lidell's 2nd half was the difference.

Harris - hard and tough as always. Not sure why he got dropped and Garlick didn't?

Bruton - As said previous, got a few taps then faded.

Skipper - Little influence in game! A few nice handballs but can't remember 1 mark he took from CHF. Rucked in last and was murdered. Not sure if the wind and the style of game told against him. Possibly getting downhearted? Keep eye on.

Cross - missing in 2nd half. No enough of it

Boyd - good first half, poor second.

Picken - gone! Ok he is coming off injury but for a guy that’s borderline made a lot of mistakes

McGuiness - probably our best, on HBF. A few nice mark and good running off the back line

Faulkner - looking great. Only negative is he doesn't get it enough. Is he playing on the ball?

Walsh - getting better every week. Depending on club situation may debut later in the year

Murphy - looked ok in 1st half, not seen in second!

Colbert - reasonable 1st half, poor defensive efforts in second.

Wight - a few marks but not physically ready for this level yet. Intimidated.

Harrison, Gilbee, Minson and Birss all didn't play. Anyone know the story with Minson?

Chops,

Thanks as always for your report.

While we all criticise Wallet for his policies with young players, we find Skipper & Harris playing in the 2's.

The reality is that we are unlikely to make the 8, or if we do, we are unlikely to make much of an impact this season.

So why not play these 2 now?

Likewise, I don't mind Kmac getting his eye in in the firsts in the backline.

Surely Picken is finished.

Ok i know this is going off the sublect a little bit, but its disapointing not to see our senior boys at the game, the only one i saw was shaggy. I knoe it probably wouldnt make any difference but it would be nice to see the boys there supporting there team mates.
