Ben Cousins [vs] Chris Judd

This poll has been made once or twice before, however it hasn't been debated in a very long time, and an unbiased poll has not been created, hence me making this thread.

I want to know which of these two you consider to be the superior player at their peak, and why?

Judd because I'm biased also from 04-07 was some of the best football I have ever seen he was explosive could turn nothing into something spectacular. But I'll vote as Chris Judd(Carlton) to be fair.

Cousins has had the better career, has been a champion for over a decade. He won many games for us, was an inspirational captain, and at his peak an hugely dominant, goal-kicking midfielder.

That said, Judd at his best is as good as I've seen. A freak.

FWIW, I think Judd. Was the best player in the league for 2 years, and is still top 20 with potential to get back there. At his best, Cousins was never really undisputed #1 in the league, but was up there pretty highly. Both superstars.

But my unbiased view like some have mentioned would be that ATM Cousins as an overall career would be better, but as the OP asks at their best, and by that Juddy by a fair bit i would say. Taking nothing away from Cousins, but Juddy's best was something that we have never seen before.

it depends what peak your talking about, but i know on field he will have nothing on Juddy...

In 2008 Judd was All Aust Capt.
He was also voted by jouron as 3rd best for the year.
He was also voted by all players (MVP) as 5th best behing Ablett, Buddy, Richo and Harvey.

For Pure football skills, lightning fast reaction & a cool head I have voted for Judd. Unbiased view.

Biased a bit I would vote for Ben as he was an inspirational captain & player to the whole team & was a true game winner for us. Pitty the off field indiscretions cloud others views on him as he was & hopefully will be again a super star player.

Could Judd have already had his peak though?? He has not done anything near what he was doing playing for west coast in 05-06.

I voted for Cousins because he has done it for a much longer period of time but Judd at his very best is almost the best I have seen.
