I don't see the Fletcher comparisons as clearly, though the Fletcher model post 2006 has been more the zoning defensive rebounder rather than Presti-esque stopper.
Reid is without doubt a very good future prospect, and a capable CHB in our current backline.
I also notice he is keeping his feet more, so must have got the stops in and listened to the BigFooty critics.
In terms of Rising Star it really is an open field when you have Hanneberry (who looked decidedly ordinary this week) as the clearcut favourite.
I give Chopper some sort of chance if he holds down CHB for us.
