Competitions Best Crows Side (max 1 player per year)

To keep the pre-season interesting, thought would be worth a crack of picking your best Crows side, where you can only pick 1 new player who came to AFC each season (the 1st time), by way of draft or trade or the initial squad.

Think Roo was a pre-listed player in 1992 (which we were able to do in 1st few years) - I gather for the 1993 season, given he played in 1st year.

In short yes.

Effectively 1st season they can play.
eg. Drafted/traded/pre-listed Nov 1991 to Feb 1992, then counts as 1992.

rehn was part of the initial squad wasn't he? if so, i'd consider him 1990

There's a seven news report somewhere from 1992 about Mark Ricciutto and the scout that found him (kerley). First player ever listed by Adelaide who had not played SANFL or something like that.

Modra was added after the 91 season had been completed so is a 1992 vintage.IMO.

I think you maybe right. I get the feeling, his player listing was very similar to Brad Crouch. On the list but not able to play and then smashed it in 1993.

Righto here is my attempt.

With Kurt stuck at CHF and backing up in the ruck I don't see a need to take Clark and get in a real club stalwart in Dogga.

Only went Cameron over crouch as we've seen neither at the top level and I think Cameron brings more of a point of difference to the side (if he can play at the level).
