My pick. Absolute cracker of a game.

Some of those State of Origin games between SA and Victoria in the mid 1980s were outstanding to watch, especially the 1984 and 1986 matches. The late EJ Whitten wrote in his Inside Football column said that most of the Victorian players suggested that the 1984 match was the hardest and toughest game they'd played in up to that point-and it's not hard to see why.
