How would you feel about organising our own phantom draft?

We'll need one poster with a reasonable level of knowledge to represent each club (preferably their supported club) enabling us to conduct the phantom draft during the week before the official National Draft on November 22.

It's been done in the past with a high level of success so once we've organised the representatives from each club as well as the date and time, I'll bring this thread back up a week before the organised date.

**Monday November 17, 2003; 5:00pm WST, 7:30pm CDT, 8:00pm EDT**

Gotta love these "official" threads....;) :D

Just a suggestion:
How about each team board work on one and then put it forward. Because I am sure there is more than one from each club that woudl like to have an input.

Good suggestion, sabre. The representative can rank/discuss potential draftees with their team's board before the organised date, allowing the representative to post the official selections.

Wooshta_9, do you still want to represent Adelaide or would you rather work on Freo's list with the rest of the Freo board?

1ST ROUND
Pick 7: Ryley Dunn/Farren Ray- Either one of these two players could be picked up by Geelong, Because of our trading period picking up Loats,Haynes and the draft getting mark blake our Big guy problem wont be such a crucial matter.

2ND ROUND
Pick 22: Ricky Dyson/Jacob Surjan/Josh Willoughby
Either one of these would be good they maybe taken earlier or later but if available these quick players would be nice for Geelong.

3RD ROUND
Pick 38: F/S Mark Blake-Geelong Falcons: KPP/Ruck who would of gone high if he wasnt eligble for Father Son selection.

Pick 42: Pat Travers-Ball Magnet, not ratred highly by many but may have some future.

4TH ROUND
Pick 54: Forfeit

Falconer, the idea is to have a simulated draft at an organised time where everyone is online at the same time. The Phantom Draft would be similar to the official National Draft where representatives of clubs take turns at selecting a player with their designated selections. The players you listed may or may not be available with your selections in this phantom draft.

So, the representative of the Bulldogs would make their selection for pick 1, followed by Carlton with pick 2, Melbourne with pick 3, the Bulldogs with pick 4, Melbourne with pick 5, and so on.

Is Hosko actually going to do it this time unlike the TEAM GM thread? Haven't seen him make one post on there after been given the Dons by Falconer02.
