No. It's hard to tag inside midfielders, much easier to shut down on the outside mids. Rich plays outside, so easier to tag him when he plays half back/half forward etc. Brodie is and always will be an inside midfielder.

Probably a good time to update my rankings. McCluggage will be No.1 - But I'll keep the rest under wraps until I update it

Yeah I think he could too. I left him as a forward as has a greater number of games there this year, but have seen him a few times since the champs playing at CHB. Beat Battle a few weeks ago...
I think he is a case of the player that just does not completely understand forward leading and positioning, but will make a great defender.

Good to see a more realistic representation of the academy players. Twomeys agenda had people thinking that perryman, setterfield, macreadie, mutch, Byrne, lynch and sproule were all first rounders

I rate him higher than Brown. I think both end up 2nd-3rd round bid. I really like what he brings, a bit of spark- Not the worst mark overhead for his size. Just bobs up and does things where you question how he did it.
I've got no issues with others rating them wherever, as long as you call it where you see it. I still rate Macreadie high, but looking at this years form alone he's been underwhelming- just OK in the champs + NEAFL. I had Setterfield a bit further back, but a really good game on the weekend pushed him higher for me. I was a huge fan of Byrne since U16s, but even think he could be undrafted that's how far he's fallen.
Can't kick, decision making is horrible. Senior form is good, but those two fundamental errors for me put him in my black book. Have him in the 40s and still reckon he'll be around the Pick 30 mark on draft night at this stage in my opinion. Looms as a HFF that can push into the midfield at times.
Kirby V Daicos??? ..I reckon I'd have Kirby before him

I wouldn't. I still have Kirby as a late pick/rookie, Daicos is a certainty to be nationally drafted. Kirby's played a lot deeper forward, while Daicos has played up the ground this as a high Half Forward.
Not doubting his goal kicking ability, but running is poor as is his endurance. X-Factor around goals, but needs to work on a fair few things. His VFL game was good, despite all 5 goals coming from 25m or less out.

I'd be happy with Luke Bunker at Carlton. Needs to put on weight but his vision at stoppages.is fantastic.

Battle and Sproule didn't get many one on one battles but thought Battle easily had the best of him in contested marking and on the lead.

They had a couple, Sproule easily won it for me. Battle hurt his calf so that affected him at stages, Sproule rebounded well. Battle missed kickable shots he normally puts through.

Yep and I will back him in...not sure Daicos would kick 9 in 2 weeks in the VFL., Sure he is a different player and will be good down the track but atm Kirby is getting some good runs on the board

So I take it you never saw Daicos Snr play then?
Well as a mad Pies supporter I saw plenty of him...if the boy is half as good then he will be better than Kirby
