Disposal efficiency is not entirely accurate.
In Kerridges case he gives off a lot of shorter options, and by hand in particular I believe.
His longer deeper kicking is his weekest asset.

Not the smartest footballer going around. Anyway he will still get a game in our side for the next few years though.

it really depends on whether that possession that reaches his teammate is to advantage, or puts them under the pump. That's the genius of a Diesel Williams or Sam Mitchell, they would get it to a team mate in a good position to do something with it, not about to get crunched in a tackle.

Bell is a good comparison. Kedge racks up more disposals while Bell had more hurt factor. Both are terrible kicks though.

I don't care for the disposal efficiency stats as they don't tell the full story - Curnow is a bad kick but still infinitely better than Kerridge right now. I was a little confused at how bad Kedge was really because I thought his kicking was sharp in preseason training. It must be a mental thing, gets rushed and just slams it on the boot.

That's exactly it.

His fumbling and kicking probs are almost always in traffic.

The best games he has played for us this year (by some way) are when he can be the outrider, usually off HBF or wing when we switch. He covers enormous territory and at a good clip, but he's constantly on the move and often got back to intercept or provide an option down back.

He get's to play this role when all our first choice mids are playing, particularly Murphy. When one is out he's forced into a role nearer the action, unfortunately he knows he doesn't have the speed or evasive skills required to give himself that second or two to dispose correctly.

I like the guys endeavour and enthusiasm and I have no doubt his professionalism adds to Boltons "leadership density", but he has to be cleaner and we need better mids in traffic.

There's still hope.

Most likely won't hear anything for a few more weeks as GWS are still in the finals.

Can't see that that matters .
GWS wanted to know for list management reasons whether he wanted to stay or go ... he told them .
Which club he nominates won't affect in any way shape or form their premiership push this year .

Greg "Venom" Denham says he believes he's going to us, but is interested what we are going to give up for him.

EDIT...Sorry, already mentioned above.
..
I'd be more inclined to run with Brett Anderson in this case, but it does look good for us.

AFL website reporting us being linked to Mitch Grigg, a mid/fwd, been on Crows list for 5 yrs, and has been playing well in SANFL, bit unable to force his way into the strong Crows side. At 23, fits our age profile. Going on the success with Wright & Kerrige, could be a likely pickup.

Wheres the link

Didn't kedge slaughter Sam Mitchell this year? Maybe I have him or another player mixed up. Kid definitely has a role to play and seems to have bought into the Carlton culture.
Stays!

The thing with Kerridge is that he will work and work hard.

He will be supported in cleaning up some of his work. He's probably started already.

No reason for him to publically announce it though.

I'm sure GWS know where he's wanting to go (and whether he's set on one club or open to offers), and they'll be working with the appropriate club/s to negotiate terms.

There's absolutely no reason to publically nominate a club this far out from trade week. No benefit in it for anyone.

He did a lot of tagging roles this year that help stop the more athletic mids curnow couldn't go with for speed (Jack Stevens).
You will also notice is ability to be one of the first mids to run back into the defensive half to help out the backs
This is why he disposal was bad at times cause he was one of mids bombing back out of defence a lot.
But did finished in our top 10 B&F

That may be so but has nothing to do with my post .
I posted that Marchbank nominating a club would have no affect on the Giants premiership push this year ...

Denham also suggesting that North have got cold feet over Tuohy.

He's probably just guessing again, but at least this one makes sense.......even if he did just make it up.

Just can't see Tuohy being a priority for North. Doesn't make sense to me.

Tuohy to GC makes sense though and they will be flush with the high draft picks that Silvagni craves .
Kruezer Everitt and Graham may also be of interest to the Suns ...
