You're kidding me...

Bower has a week off from the Freo game and is still going to miss with soreness. ****!

With Setanta in it was always going to be out of Warnock and Hampson to replace Kreuz.

I thought both would play but that was when I thought Setanta would not play which now appears not to be the case.

I wouldn't exactly call not selecting someone "leaving them out in the cold". Doesn't that happen each and every week with every team in the league?

Bower out again? ****ing hell. :(

I said 2 weeks ago that I would not bring an injured player back into the team 1 week before the break. To be honest I still can't understand why we did it.

Bower out again!? WTF!

I think its time for the club to level with us and tell us what is really wrong with him, it can't be quad tears coming and going surely, hate to say it but could it be one of those OP cases??

Good move.

The fact that Warnock didn't get picked is no big deal IMO.

He was always going to take the longest to turn into an AFL ruckman.

Bloody pumped to see Hammer get out there :thumbsu:

Exactly right about Warnock. Ruckman and most tall forwards take many years to develop. Look at Sandilands, up until this year his claim to fame was his height. Warnock has only played a handful of games. I think he will be really good in due time

By the way who are the outs?

would say it definetly is a quad injury. Quads are usually 3-4 week injuries which it has been every time he has injured it. Quads are also the type of muscle that is easy to redo over and over through kicking the footy.

Alot of the times when players do quads in footy, they redo them, bugger of an injury.

Yeah know that from experience unfortunately, however he played out the game against freo (I think), and wasn't reported on the injury list, if it really is the quad I think it might be a case of the docs asking him after training how it felt and he saying it was really sore so they don't want to risk it.

They have to just let him play at some stage though and if he does it again put him on ice, can't go in and out like this for the rest of the season and then play finals.

Warnock has had a stint, albeit a short one. Hampson deserves a stint himself to see how he is developing. Hampson also offers some pretty impressive leap - well more than the rest of our rucks.

Knockers will be good... just needs to put on some more weight and learn that there are times when you try and palm the ball down in a marking situation instead of going for the mark yourself.

He will get another run before the end of the year.

Very excited about seeing how Hammer goes, glad he's in. Love his athleticism and speed.

Setanta to hopefully fire up and score a few. Murphy is always a big welcome back :)

As for Bower - that's really unfortunate news. I really hope he's not a player whose career is ruined by injuries. I would hope the club just lets him rehabilitate for teh rest of the year, have surgery, get it fixed and focus on next year. It's no good playing him a few weeks in, a few weeks off.

I tore my quad. muscle a few years ago, and the specialists said it was a top job of ruining my legs. Anyway, 6 years later, and all the treatment and rehab, it still pinches. What i'm trying to say is, just rest him, let him get better, have the rest of the year off and focus on 2011. He's no good to us or himself if he's anywhere near under 100% right.

Yep, while we're doing knee jerk reactions Suban and Gysberts both did heaps last week :o

How about waiting to see how things work out in the long run rather than acting like a drama queen.

whatever
