Bolt didnt finish an arts degree, yet is easily able to run rings around those who did. Why?

Something is VERY wrong with our educational system.

Indeed....Particularly when economics/commerce majors exhibit such a poor grasp of their history.

You could use any of Bolt's columns as exercises for introduction to philosophy/logic courses.
They are like intentional fallacy bingo cards.
I'm not sure what is; worse if he is pretending to be or is actually that stupid.
That he is given a platform is an indictment of the state of what purports to be serious media.
That apparently a significant percentage of the population are not morally repulsed by him and indeed find him persuasive is almost too sad to believe.

John Edward was a dance student and studied health care administration. Plebs will believe whatever you tell them; that’s why they’re plebs.

Interesting that you reply to my post on this thread but not the other.

And yes, I agree with a lot with he says.
Interesting that you still haven't replied to my posts.

Bolt has a strategy of creating fear, alarm and division by appealing to peoples' worst instincts. And for his limited (in both number and intellect) audience it works a charm. But it is hardly beneficial to society as a whole.

You probably don't want him to, he gets nasty when upset.

Note his closing retort in this post to me in another thread - classy stuff indeed.

I think you’d struggle immensely joining two dots together.

Just like how you manage to put your fingers in your ears when there is outrage by a white crime. (For example, the Frankston king hit guy, the huge social media uproar)

But when there is literally Sudanese gangs fighting where the riot police is called we are all racist white sumpremicists if we dare question it.

**** you, you complete dumb ****.

And we’re reaping the rewards of this now, Australia is moving ahead with a large amount of debt, an RBA interest rate that hasn’t moved off 1.5%, a dollar that is quickly sliding away from the US dollar. Zero potential for innovation, zero potential for growth.

But on the bright side, in terms of our security against brown people, we’ve spent $10B over a few years to keep a couple of people locked up overseas in a concentration camp, we’ve created a Dutton task force with the ability to erase all of Australia’s drop bear problem in one foul-swoop (I personally haven’t seen a drop-bear for years), and we are currently debating the biggest issue in the Victorian election; crime, more specifically povvo-people crime, rather than $443M crime, $1B AGL crime, $7T property crime.

Funny how bullshit isn’t transformative in the way it claims to be.

It wouldn't surprise me if triggered left wing people are the ones that read, watch and listen to his stuff the most, then talk about him even more.

The guy is a bit of an idiot and troll, why give him oxygen.
I consider myself on the left, far from triggered however - and I have rarely read anything he has written since I found out what he is all about.

As for the second part of your post, I certainly don't have an issue with toxic views like his being challenged. Else there is a risk they will take hold and be accepted as mainstream.

The guy has multiple columns in Australia's most widely read newspaper, and a nightly hourly show.

It's not the left giving him oxygen. It's the Murdoch empire in conjunction with a political establishment keen to capitalise on pleb racism to push through policies for the wealthy.

Ha Ha Ha, and he accuses Ratts of tantrums. Too funny!

Yes nicely put. Using a huge, wealthy media company to perpetuate stupid and poorly argued ideas that appeal to base instincts so you don't notice they are robbing the country blind.
If finding that a tragedy (on moral & intellectual levels) that makes me despair for our society and shared humanity is being triggered then call me triggered.

Actually, on reflection, when you put it that way you can call me triggered as well.

No victim playing here.
Yeah, you did. You pretended you weren't allowed to disagree with people on here (see quote below). Even though no one had said anything of the sort.
So someone isn’t allowed to agree with a person/commentator if it doesn’t sit right with you?
:disrelieved:
Simply observing you literally meltdown, identical to the link you reference in your sig.

Although I guess dummy spitting is a vital attribute of being far left.
Oh, no. So you don't even know what "dummy spitting" is, either...? To put it into a context you'll understand, remember when Yassmin Abdel-Magied had tens of thousands of words written about her in the Murdoch media because of a Facebook post that she deleted when someone told her it came across offensive? That's what we call a dummy spit. Someone overreacting to something. A back-and-forth conversation starts with a D too, but it's called a dialogue. Some people might be tempted to think that you reacting to a simple conversation with claims that it is a 'dummy spit' is itself an overreaction, but as you've admitted you're a Bolt reader, I think we know you may have just been misled in terms of how life really is.

The same people who draped themselves in the memory of the Anzacs when it came to Yassmin's Tweet had an actual Nazi on their program. You really couldn't make this shit up.

Nah, you've gotta pay to read his stuff. This sort of argument is made a lot, but I think is rarely (if ever) true. Gerard Henderson's Media Watch Dog column might be the closest to it, as I've only ever seen it referenced by other people in the media, when making fun of him. Latham's bitchy columns might be another one, but I hardly ever read him in the AFR so I don't know if he dealt with other things that could've attracted fans.

He also has at his core the need to personally attack people and to their everlasting credit most don't sink to his level my responding.

For a bunch of people who despise Andrew Bolt, you guys sure keep up with what he writes
