Bolt has a strategy of creating fear, alarm and division by appealing to peoples' worst instincts. And for his limited (in both number and intellect) audience it works a charm. But it is hardly beneficial to society as a whole.
You probably don't want him to, he gets nasty when upset.
I consider myself on the left, far from triggered however - and I have rarely read anything he has written since I found out what he is all about.
Yes nicely put. Using a huge, wealthy media company to perpetuate stupid and poorly argued ideas that appeal to base instincts so you don't notice they are robbing the country blind.

That's what we call a dummy spit. Someone overreacting to something. A back-and-forth conversation starts with a D too, but it's called a dialogue. Some people might be tempted to think that you reacting to a simple conversation with claims that it is a 'dummy spit' is itself an overreaction, but as you've admitted you're a Bolt reader, I think we know you may have just been misled in terms of how life really is.

Nah, you've gotta pay to read his stuff. This sort of argument is made a lot, but I think is rarely (if ever) true. Gerard Henderson's Media Watch Dog column might be the closest to it, as I've only ever seen it referenced by other people in the media, when making fun of him. Latham's bitchy columns might be another one, but I hardly ever read him in the AFR so I don't know if he dealt with other things that could've attracted fans.
Wow, an opinion columnist who has been done for poor use of facts complaining about young people being too opinionated with no facts is inception level trolling.
Andrew seems blissfully unaware that he himself is an opinionated know-nothing.
He also has at his core the need to personally attack people and to their everlasting credit most don't sink to his level my responding.
Also a person who isn't that bright or skilled but who is making heaps by pandering to peoples worst instincts.
