I wouldn’t be surprised if it was made up. Julia Banks would have been toast at the next election. She is doing a runner before this happens.
Possibly is however not so sure. Slowyl that electorate has been moving more towards Liberal due to the demographic/boundary change

Weird move from Bolt, piling into Banks with three pieces in three days saying bullying/intimidation doesn't exist when it comes to his mates and if it does then where is it huh where is it huh name names or it doesn't exist huh if you can't stand the heat get back in the kitchen something something goddam split tails probably pregnant or something.

The whole conservative shtick is so self destructive at the moment. The segment of society they're appealing to - that tiny population of mouth breathers right at the fringe - holds such little sway in a voting and cultural sense. What is the point? What are shit birds like Bolt actually trying to achieve?

I know right. But the level of self-delusion that they represent the silent majority (and only the ALP, Greens and the ABC disagree) is rather amusing to watch.

Can’t be arsed looking but I’m sure you’d find a glowing tribute from Bolt to banks when she won the only seat from labor at the last election.

On QandA you could see the Libs we’re trying to rope union bullying into the conversation and everyone’s like wtf?

On QandA Alan Jones talked on the issue and kept using ‘the wider party’ and ‘ the wider electorate’ on rotation saying the parliamentary Libs are out of touch. Like he was trying to confuse people with his slickness. is he a creationist? That would make sense.

Sydney talkback world is another country. It's like they rounded up all the resentful boomers and put them in an old school Apartheid style homeland somewhere in NSW.

A million readers a day.

Is that what he’s after or is claimed readership? How is it measured - page impressions, individual users?
In the past he has claimed a million unique readers per day.

I wonder how many would be off shore.

Given his tv ratings - now and when he was free to air - and his short lived radio efforts in Melbourne, I don’t see much evidence that he is locally super popular.

How do those numbers stack up against BigFooty? Sound plausible to you?

Got through my first Sky After Dark experience last night. For such a controversial figure, Bolt makes incredibly boring television. He has no screen presence and his delivery to camera comes across as nothing more than a whine. He's got the voice of a school girl and a smug face begging for a big old slap.

The Outsiders... Ha ha ha Jesus Christ this show is more my bag. Just two blokes with no f**king idea talking shit, swapping from one topic to the next and then back again. I can't see the planning for an episode of this show extending beyond the question "so... bourbon or scotch? ". Dean looks like he's been pulled from a skip half an hour before broadcast, Cameron looks mildly concussed.

Looking forward to catching Credlin's show some time this week because I love her hair and want to run my fingers through it.

From 2011:

Although Bolt has been writing two or more provocative columns per week for the Herald Sun since the late 1990s, it has only been in the past five or so years that he has expanded his reach – and his influence – to the huge national audience he has today. He is now syndicated in Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Adelaide. Almost 12 million people around Australia pick up the newspapers that carry Bolt's columns, and 3.5 million actually read those columns. His blog, which he only started in 2006 and which he updates as often as 12 times per day, received just over 3 million page views from 272,000 unique visitors in August this year.

Now I am wondering if it is a million a month?

How many sentences did he end with " Hmmmmm ? "

Saw his " I'm not a right-winger " speech on twitter , fooling no one apart from the dim ****s who love him.

Plenty would go there but inside you know she'd judge your performance harshly

A million readers a day.
I spent a few years working for a media content analysis firm when I was a young bloke. When reporting for clients we would apply research that found (from memory) only twenty percent of readers would go the whole way through a given story; the majority of an audience would read a headline, look at a picture then read the first three paragraphs.

Is this true? I've NFI but audience figures are fairly nebulous numbers that don't measure much at all.

I think there is a stat about most people leaving after reading 1/3 of an article.

I reckon Bolt Zombies are likely to read every word he writes.

Those are better shows than any the abc seem to roll out!
Facts and reality seem to be missing from those shows

C'mon man, I only criticised Bolt's show for committing the cardinal sin of being a boring piece of television. Like I said, The Outsiders was a real rib tickler and I'm reserving judgement on Credlin's Fabulous Hair Half Hour until I see it.
