Well Adam Goodes receiving the award is a joke. And I can't speak for others. But personally I'd respect an AOTY who hasn't had the title bestowed upon them because politicians are using him as a future marketing tool.

I didn't ask you what he did-I asked you what options did he have? Go over and quietly get her name to follow up later?
He wasn't self-righteous about it later-he was understanding and helpful.
He is trying to help our understanding of indigenous issues-how is that self serving? Especially when this board make sit pretty clear that we still have a long way to go.
