Boyd vs hayes

With the All Australian team being announced tonight, and many people either having one or both of them on the bench. I thought it would be really interesting to start this topic.

I have been living in china since July so its hard for me to say.

Not picking on the Saints fans here but why do they overrate their players so much? I love Lenny Hayes and is one of the handfull of players I actually like at St Kilda, but writing him off against Matthew Boyd has a touch of arrogance.

Boyd has been class all year and while I think Lenny Hayes may edge this, its not that clear cut to call the thread a outright fail.

Hayes's disposal is probably the best at St.Kilda (behind only Goddard and Dal Santo)

This is hilarious, have you actually ever watched a St.Kilda game before this year? Hayes has been a constant performer and has had a fantastic defensive game from back when the Saints cellar dwellers.

Pretty even as I thought. With Hayes leading in tackles and Boyd leading in goals.

Doesn't have the clearances though which I'm pretty sure Boyd was #1 in the league.
