A North Brad Scott bashing thread turns into an Essendon Knights bashing thread.

North and Essedon fans..... just go and get a room

They love us, or it seems that way. Everytime they see a thread title with North in it the flock there like a dog on heat. Has Lance been here yet?

Yep, can't be denied.

Oh, except tonight included 5 injured blokes and 3 shocker free kick goals.

I doubt the injured blokes had much to do with the lack of effort put in by our leadership group in the last. Only one that could have made a major difference is Hansen who could have swept up that loose ball with his play reading skills.

Hobble the two best midfielders (captain and vice captain), second best KPF (Tarrant), best marking KPD (Hansen) and a rebounding flanker (Mullet) out of any side and they would have struggled tonight. I'm honestly not that fussed. When we had everyone fit and running we looked like we were going to win by 15 goals. We had a ton of bad luck in this match.

Beams, Black, Docherty, Moloney, who was the fifth?

Sorry mate but that is BS
It was a beautiful, mild, dry night in Brissy with no dew to speak of. It was Docklands conditions (ok the ground is wider). We are not playing near our ability. There lies the answer.. why not??

North had trouble handling the ball on the deck. Docklands plays very differently to outside grounds, there's no doubt about it.

Hardwick - 82 games, 34 wins
Scott, 82 games, 41 wins
H2H: Scott 4, Hardwick 1

Younger than opposition:
Scott P49-W17-L32-D0 34.69%
Hardwick P66-W22-L42-D2 34.84%

Older than opposition:
Scott P33-W24-L9-D0 72.73%
Hardwick P15-W12-L3-D0 80.00%

Hardwick has only just entered the "payoff zone".

Maybe SLF, I only get to Docklands about once a year.
My point is that the conditions were pristine and that we looked pretty good for 2/3 of the game.
We are a better side than our results dictate. IMO
God I hope we improve next year and not drop into a decade of mediocrity
