Brett Deledio vs Scott Pendlebury

They are two different yet very effective players. Deledio can go play across half back and has an awesome kick. Pendlebury goes out on the field and he is so smooth and skilled. This year they are both playing as midfielders. Who would you rather have in your team?

If I needed more of an inside player I would choose Pendles, but if I needed a player who can play half back, wing and on ball I would choose Deledio. IMHO I don't think people are giving Deledio enough credit.

Pendles would only be behind Ablett and maybe Watson as a mid right now. Lid's would also be behind Murphy, Mitchell, Thompson, Cotchin and a few others

If Pendles has an injury free season the gap will widen.

Pendles is probably the number 2 mid in the comp whereas Deledio is would count himself lucky to be included in the top echelon of mids imo

Pendlebury is a top 5 player, Deledio is top 15 or so. Both guns but you have to say Pendles. Different strengths though, would complement each other beautifully in a side.

Tough one because Deledio has never played in a successful season, while just about all of Pendlebury's career has been very successful.

Peddlebury is Collingwoods best player while deledio would be number 3 for me for Richmond behind Cotchin and Jack. Pendlebury would be a top 5 player in the league while deledio would be in the 20-30 region.
