This game has a certain appeal :).....
Firstly, we are still a good chance to win and get at least 2 wins under our belt.
Secondly, I am looking forward to Clarke and Hannath back. I would think they are both "fighting" for their careers...More so Zac in some respects.
I would love for Hannath to show something and be retained for a streak of games.
Thirdly, Tabs time has come! This could be the game were he stamps himself as a genuine long term option. I am hoping for more of those contested marks, just closer to goal!
Fourthly, Welcome Smith. Let's see what you've got!
Us by 16 points. Tabs with 4, Mayne and Son-Son with 3 a piece :)

Be interesting how the bigs go today. For that reason I don't see us winning it. Hope to be proven wrong, but Brisbane should have the better of us.

Watching the first 10 weeks I accepted losses and was looking at the bigger picture of having a decent draft pick. After watching last week I want more of the same. That's worth it's weight in gold, seeing us play well albeit against poor opposition.

We should be more then competitive against Brisbane. I would be disappointed if we took a big step back, BUT we do have young bodies and it's the first Queensland trip for a host of players.

I'll be turning the sound down anyway but it looks like both Alistair Lynch and Jonathon Brown will be commentating. Should be some unbiased opinions given.:drunk:

Still Looking forward to the game though.

His mid 20 possession games have come from 56% and 58%(?) time on ground.

56% and 64% but yeah from relatively low amounts of time.

He's a bit soft really by not playing more time. If he just played 100% game time he'd average over 40 touches, would be our backup ruckman with his 3rd up plays and lead the league in contested possessions.

haha Yeah, i saw his hitouts and had a bit of a chuckle. So I did a quick check on the stats:

Ave Hitout per game.
40 Connor Blakely 4.17
41 Travis Cloke 3.20
43 Ben Brown 2.64
43 Justin Westhoff 2.64
45 Tyrone Vickery 2.55
57 Charlie Dixon 1.64

lol

Listening to RTB earlier this week, it seemed like he was willing to give Zac a bit more leeway.

The impression I got from Mark Stone on 720 this morning was that the club was quite unhappy with Clarke's form as of late - but they see him as vital to the future of the club.

Have to agree - beyond Sandi and Griffin there's really nothing for us for the next 5 years or so.
