Who are our clubhouse leaders? smokies for top 5?

It has been said by a few that it is a very tight contest for the award this year, just wanted to see some opinions.

Neale might be a chance for his 3rd if he has a good back half of the year, proven vote getter and some big performance in his clubs wins.
Daicos of course is a big chance and [PLAYERCARD]Bailey Smith[/PLAYERCARD] hasn't played a bad game.

Dawson a definite chance for multiple 3 vote games so far as well and of course Zach Merrett has been amazing as he has every year.

Serong had a cracker start to the year and like Rowell and Liberatore they are always under the umpire's nose.

Top 5 dark horse is K Pickett.

Don’t see how Smith doesn’t win it. Standout player in a team that wins a lot of games.

Not many will take votes from him.

Others who would be ahead of Daicos at the moment:
Butters
Gawn
Rowell
Xerri
Brayshaw
I've got all of the below ahead of him heading into this round:

B. Smith
T. Liberatore
J. Dawson
Z. Merrett
E. Richards
M. Gawn
Z. Butters
C. Rozee
T. Xerri
J. Macrae
C. Serong
C. Warner
N. Anderson

You're probably right.

And amongst them there will be one or two who get off to a flyer, and will be difficult to reel them in.

He's far shorter in the betting than he should be, but I guess if he was expected to be leading it at this stage, he'd be odds on to win it.

No idea how accurate this usually is but according to this, it's Naicos.
And with 2 or 3 last night, they reckon he's on 16?

No chance.

He'd be lucky to be on 10 after this round.

The thing is, people always rate the entirety of a season when talking Brownlow.

When In reality Naicos who you could divide his season into very good & poor games, is probably tracking to be similar as a [PLAYERCARD]Jordan Dawson[/PLAYERCARD] who has been much more consistent but you only get votes for being in the top 3 so if umps rate you 4th or 34th on the ground it’s the same result.

He will be right up there

Any 30+ disposal game for high-profile players is an automatic 2-3 Brownlow voters in this era, especially if the player in question also accumulates 6+ clearances. Naicos has already 5 games that fall into that category. I'd be staggered if he's on any less than 15 votes by this point. It's far more likely he's on more than that though. The winner will have 35+ votes again this year.

[PLAYERCARD]Bailey Smith[/PLAYERCARD] will be ahead being the most standout player in the Geelong team. I think he will drop off second half of season when teams inevitably begin tagging him

I think Danger and Jez now have had 4-5 standout 3 vote games this year between them all in wins for the club, so that is half of the 3 votes gone.
