Agree with this. I thought Buddy would get 2, Tippett 1-2, and Gordon at least 2.Seriously though, how did Gordon get off a full on elbow to Jack's head? Lucky enough not to flush him but in terms of actual dirty shit, that's the stuff that should be getting suspensions.
Not in Bondi.Franklin had no applicable bad record?
Buddy was careless? It was intentional. He went straight past the ball. What a joke. Should have got at least 2

Intentionally choosing to not gather the ball, go the player and hit them clean in the head is not "part of footy".
If he tried to pick up the ball and made contact with the head it wouldn't be as bad.
I thought it was a 3 week down to 2 incident. In that sense I think he's a tad lucky.

Watching it at the time I thought, that's part of footy. Didn't gather the ball so put some body on the bloke right in his path. No worries. I would have screamed blue murder had he gotten weeks doing the same thing playing for us.
However, he would have gotten weeks if he did play for us.

Agreed. How Lewis only got 2 weeks for landing a late haymaker flush across the chops is beyond me.I really don't want to believe that the MRP treats certain clubs differently to others but how can I not?
I was referring to the last part of his postYou quoted a post that completely agreed with everything you said. Did you actually read it?

I thought it was one at worst.
Glancing blow, barely made contact.
I love the "no applicable bad record"http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-06-29/match-review-panel-full-statement-round-13
Lance Franklin, Sydney Swans, has been charged with charged with engaging in rough conduct against Shane Edwards, Richmond, during the second quarter of the Round 13 match between the Sydney Swans and Richmond, played at the SCG on Friday June 26, 2015.
In summary, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, it was the view of the panel the incident should be classified as careless conduct with medium impact to the head. This offence was classified as a two-match sanction. The player has no applicable bad record. An early plea can reduce the penalty to a one-match sanction.

But if the system has changed since he played for you then it's just farcical to make the comparison. The whole AFL love child thing doesn't work either when Gordon gets nothing for his hit........Just to clarify I believe it was worth nothing. The MRP for the majority has brought the penalties down this year and even prior to these results I was thinking we were better for it.
MRP says attempted bump/glancing blow.
This is a declaration that Sydney can do whatever they want.
