Scott is contacted for 2 more seasons so there's no point even talking about this but I will say I was a listening to dermie on SEN last week and he was talking about why peter schwab was sacked at hawthorn. He said it was because scwabby had too much trust in his players. Too much trust to a fault and the players would just let him down. They wanted someone to demand success from the players and be dropped if they didn't want to follow.

Seems familiar to me. Only fringe players ever get dropped. Way too many golden boys in this team who seem to do nothing wrong despite lacklustre efforts time and time again

It's only 50% Brad's fault, and most of that is for continually picking players that are out of form or not ready for senior footy yet. He can't help it if players are too lazy to lead for space in the last minutes of a close game. Still, a lot he does has me thinking:

Pathetic coaching.

Unbelievable that he took Anthony and Siera (both soft) as travelling emergencies knowing that there was heavy rain forecast. Greenwood has been playing well in the twos yet can't get a crack.

Gotta start wondering now.

Season 4, full list. Had the time to pick the players and better resources and facilities than any previous North coach.

Was kinda time to start bearing at least some semblance of fruit.

Very frustrating that they ve been allowed the spare all night. It's like ground hog day every time we clear the ball

Scott lost by not manning up mckenzie.

And by playing so many duds.

Macmillan wasn't bloody sighted.
Adams is lost is and is a shadow of his former self.
Firrito and mcmahon are glorified witches hats.

How many of our players fumble when they go near the ball.
How we couldn't get the ball out of the the defence in the 2nd quarter was embarrassing.

Scott needs to be held accountable for this, how can he not go man on man.

Please make him accountable Harris 10 - go man on man with him and show him how it's done.

C'mon you fools, he is a great coach. It rained, that's what happened. We can't play in the wet, it wrecks your hairstyle. If on the other hand it snowed, thus freezing the hair into place, we would have skied our way to victory. Plus Tazza was out, you can't win with such a bad injury list.

Huge effort by the boys, extend Bon.

Interesting, he's another one who came to mind when I was thinking about comparable coaches.

Wallace, Schwab and perhaps Daniher. Although Daniher reached a GF.

Coaches who weren't complete duds in their first years but equally were never taking their sides to the chosen land.

To cross to a metaphor, is it better to break up when you know it's not going to work out or see it through to the bloody end?

Against GCS you could blame Scott all you want and I wouldn't stick up for him, he was clearly out coached that game and questions had to be asked but seriously to point fingers at him today is a joke, it's all on the players today not the coach.
We kept kicking to Freo's loose man. It was no different to the GC game.
Plus he played Adams and Wright when they are clearly out of form. He backed in them and its his call but today showed it was a bad call. Another bad call by Brad. Plenty of blame can be laid at Brads feet and so it should be.
