Does anyone know what has hapened to Ryan Nye since last year.

In a few games that I saw he played quite well.

I thought he may have got another year on his contract.

There were obviously things that he did or did not do which counted against him, because he was rated quite high by Jimmy and the boys at the start of the 2005 year.

Does anyone know the story here?

I seem to recall a late season injury killing off whatever chance he had of being retained for another season.

He hurt his ankle in the reserves grand final for north. That was the end I think.

Ankle I think.

Off memory he broke his ankle in the reserves grand final North v Glenelg.

Put it on the regional board and someone may know? If you’re that interested.

Sorry I wasn’t trying to sound condescending

Ryan has stayed in Adelaide and will again be playing for North in the SANFL.

Thanks for the information - Doiler really appreciated.

Sounded like it, Crows 98. He was part of the Crows and therefore I thought it would be of interest to AFC supporters.

yeah i think it was the first term when he got stretchered off, cant remember as i hit the gas pretty hard that wonderful day

as doilerman said he is still at Prozvegas which is great as hes a fantastic player who the great man Jars has a lot of time for

Nye has been named for his 1st league game of the season this week after some very good form in the reserves.

Good luck to the lad. Porps has shown that being delisted isn't the end of the world, and if you work hard you can come back from it.

All the best for the future, good to see him back playing footy.
