You shouldn't get the same amount of votes in Elimination Finals and Semi Finals as you do in Qualifying Finals and Preliminary Finals.

They've got it right by applying extra weighting to the Grand Final, but need to differentiate between the other Finals as well.

For example, is Mason Cox destroying the hot premiership favourite Richmond on the 2018 Preliminary Final a superior performance than Walshy going 28 and 0 against a Sydney team that scraped into the 2023 Finals series in 8th place?
