Another kinda rant, but why is this tournament so long? There is maybe 1 game per day, with time between grouped games, for travel. It's also resulting in teams playing 1 game per week. With 6 teams, they could make this tournament a lot more compact. Taking over a month just to play 30 games is too long.

Its because they have to allow themselves a couple of days to move teams from different islands.
 
Do they have to take down everything in one country and put it back up in the other?
Can't there be a slight overlap? It doesn't take a few days to travel between islands
Whilst I dont like the gap between days from island to island, Id imagine it would be a cost thing. You have one team who is on 9 matches completed , whilst another team has 6 matches completed - which doesnt make sense from my side.
