These guys are ****ing classic. I love it. I've already been banned from their board because I stated the obvious and called them pathetic. This forum has been full of Carlton supporters talking up their list all pre season. Now they have been brought back to reality, but they still can't accept it. ITS ALL THE UMPIRES FAULT! THEY COST THEM 10 GOALS AT LEAST!

The funny thing is they still lost by more than 10 goals. Reminds me of the Carlton supporter who was yelling "**** geelong" for about 3 minutes non-stop (amazingly not caught by security) at half time.

Someone needed to give some of their fans a reality check and I'm glad it was us.

All Carlton need are two sons of SOS to go father and son and stick to our two sons of Gazza snr like s**t to a blanket like their old man, and then they might have a slim chance of beating us!

Can't believe Carlton fans had anything to complain about with the umpiring, especially considering the free kick Fev got in the 2nd quarter.

Just checked that thread out... f***ing unbelievable. They actually did really well with the umpires tonight, I had a couple of mediterranean blokes in front of me joking about the frees they got for nothing. I returned with a laugh when we got a stupid free. It goes both ways and the umps these days are impossible to predict from one week to the next. One thing that will remain constant is the call of "baaaaallll!" from the blues fans regardless of how long an opposition player has had the ball or if in fact he has actullay been tackled!

We aren't all that bad and none of us have really believed we will make the finals. Hoping for about tenth. We were schooled tonight by a team that was red hot and we weren't up to it. You guys always give it to us so congratulations.

Umps were **** as always both ways and did not influence the result.

It'll be a rollercoaster for blues fans this year, one week sublime followed by a performance like tonight, hopefully there are worse sides out there than us and i think there are in North, Richmond, Collingwood and possibly Brisbane but who knows.

Cats looked the goods tonight. Play like that every week and you'll win more often than not.

By my recollection, Carlton got 3 goals from free kicks, so it's fair to say the umpires were their equal leading goalscorer with Eddie Betts!

Tell me how many Carlton supporters blamed the umpires for the loss? From what I could tell in that thread, maybe one. And even then he backtracked. A couple of us found even thinking of blaming the umpires as embarrassing.

But don't let the facts get in the way of labelling all of us as not being accepting of what was dished out to us tonight.

Many of us, including myself, are more than happy to accept the reality of where we are at the moment. And to give credit to Geelong on their comprehensive victory by the way.

You stated the very reason that you were banned from the Carlton forum by the looks of it. You don't go onto another team's board and carry on, it is against the rules. I certainly wouldn't come here and post about Geelong in a similar fashion. (I would think that rule is policed fairly strictly on all the team's boards, not just ours).

Anyway, well done to Geelong tonight, if you can keep that sort of form up all season it looks like you are in for a good year.

You lot gave us a lesson in football.....

We allowed you to dictate the game and we paid the price,there were some valuable lessons given to us tonight,and we can only hope our younger blokes learn from it....

Thought i should come back as i posted before the game giving your midfield a bit of a raz. Great win by you guys last, played extremely well and made us look very very ordinary. Good luck for the rest of the season.
