I would rather do it on our own merits

Progressive sustained growth, hasn't hampered the Cats, been competative for over a decade

And when our boys are standing on the dais lifting the cup I won’t care if the AFL gave us a pick, nor will it diminish the achievement.

If there was ever an acceptable excuse for tanking its, Mesers Jack Lukosius or Izak Rankine either of this lads will be absolute Superstars.
Wonder how much persuasion or pressure if any the bottom 5 teams will need to entertain tanking?

Compensation enough if GCFC falls flat and loses Lynch to FA (though think that Collingwood would need to trade for him), the ol’ 1-2 thank you very much.

As i said, Cats have done it for years without a PP

It's called drafting and list management

It's a bit rich talking about Geelong and the draft. Their premiership side of recent times was built on the back of some very handy father sons.

In recent times they have persistently traded out first round and later draft picks to get in players from other teams.

Are you serious! You dont win 3 premierships on the back of a couple father sons . Their drafting in particular and trading preceding and during their successful period was sensational ...

I agree the father son rules back then gave sides like Geelong, easy access to very good talent, so be it.

Yes, they have been trading in experienced players over recent times, due to the composition of their list, but Wells still selected talented kids in this latest draft

This is my only visit to this board until September at the earliest. I love that we have SOS and his team who are looking at this draft, 2019 and 2020 already because they are the best in the business. I am also hopeful that we are in the back half of the first round and that could be anyone at this stage. I also hope that BSOS et. al. live up to the billing and don't cost too much in terms of bids.
