I was on the verge of bumping the previous Caro thread after I read this part of the article. What does the Carlton Football Club board have to do with the AFL restructuring Ben Buckley's old position? Once again Caro chooses to editorialise instead of concentrating on reporting the football news. Perhaps the functioning of the Carlton board is a mystery to her because no-one at Carlton is prepared to provide her with information anymore, due to the frequent hatchet jobs she has done on the club. What a bitter, twisted human being.

That is what irks me the most. There is getting less and less facts and more pot shots. She is actually a good journalist, but this is moving more into the lazy and shoddy side of journalism. We know our board is divided at the moment, and it sounds as she has sided with the sneaky leakers, and will therefore take pot shots at us, rather than simply report on facts.

We will struggle to fill our rookie list on Tuesday. That's how financially rooted we are.

On what are you basing that? We will be picking our full quota in both the PSD & the rookie draft. As we always do.

The point being made in this thread, is that Caro's latest swipe at our club was irrelevant to the subject of the article (as, for that matter was the swipe at the Kangaroos) & was nothing more than a cheap pot shot. It just goes to show that Sticks has really got under her skin. Bitter, twisted soul that she is.

Caro's traditional bitter anti-Carlton administration fabrications always provide me with a laugh or two. This one hit the spot. The way she tries to put together "..wish were true.." stories is quite funny, and made worse by the fact that she is a Richmond supporter, a team that has been in a rebuilding phase for the past 25 years.

I think we all know that we are still having some issues at board level Funky, but does it really give her the right to slag off at us at every chance she gets. I've lost count of how many times she's taken a cheap shot at us.

There's an old saying "The Truth Hurts".

Our recent record with our board is a shambles.

The problems are all still there, the optimism of new players smoke screens it over for a while.

The only reason Caro can keep making these "pot shots" is because to anyone looking in from the outside there's still boards issues and squabbling by various factions in/around the club.

Until we can rectify it as a journo she's got every right to keep brining it up, after all that's part and parcel of journalism.
