Charlie Gardiner

61 AFL games (2008 : 10 games)

33 AFL goals (2008 : 8 goals)

VFL Premierships 2002 & 2007 (Geelong)

Runner up VFL best and fairest 2007 (Geelong)
Runner up TAC Cup best and fairest 2001 (Sandringham)

All Australian under 18 2001 (Sandringham)
TAC Cup Team of the Year 2001 (Sandringham)
Vic Metro under 18 2001 (Sandringham)

Now I don't know about you, but I think he deserves some respect !

If only for one last stat :

AFL player 2008 (St Kilda)

Probably HMC.

But we've got a 100 gamer solely with the Saints (X) who is not playing.

You've seen some VFL games - I just don't know why Chucky gets picked (aside from forward line structure problems we have). He just hasn't played that well at VFL level.

Think from some talk around that Silvagni will be looked at come draft time by other clubs.

Keep him in cotton wool Saints!!! ;)

Wouldn't mind us going for Nahas from Port. Got a bit of Aaron Davey about him, kicks goals, only around 20yo, and was Victoria's best player in the state game. Would be worth picking up imo.

They are knocking Princes Park down? Anyone know what part of the rubble you enter the ground from?

There's a little false opening in the centre square.....you tunnel under Royal Pde....that's where the brown paper bags are stored.

I'll keep an eye out for Greg Williams - he's probably still owed some money and will be looking for it now you've blown their cover.

Fraser Brown is still in shackles down there.

Hope we get Silvagni, but in all honesty, you guys will probably pick him, as you dont have as many delistings this year, and only need a handfull of players, we need 8 or something like that, so you guys will probably pick him with your 4th rounder maybe, or 5th.

Scorps by 50+.

Don't think Fiora played. Allen & Armo (other emergencies) did.

The Scorp listed defenders (Taylor, Wall, Silvagni, Panozza, O'Bryan) would have been in the best.

For the Saints :
Macca - excellent as a forward in difficult conditions. Showed some of the others how to kick for goal. Sticky fingers.
Woody - presented well. Dropped a few marks though.
The Flea - some dashing runs through traffic for goals.
X - played well. Went in hard as you'd expect. Taken off in the last quarter.
Armo - very prominent. Won a bunch of frees for playing the ball and in front.
Rixy - went for a hanger at every opportunity. Took the players aside after Hutchison had a chat (GH very impressive in front of the players) and made some sort of announcement. Was cheered off the ground.
Gears - OK
Leigh Fish - courageous but just OK.
Fergie - solid
Mini - struggled a bit.
Howard - didn't seem to get much of it.
Chivers - seemed OK but then would make a blue.

He got lucky for the first time last night. :thumbsu:

On a serial note, good to hear that Jack and Armo had good games.

Thanks Squizz:thumbsu:
Next year we may have a fair few new regular faces. Armitage should be getting some time in the middle, McEvoy up forward, Steven improving every week.

Good last year but has battled this year - even with the Scorps at times.

No doubting the man's courage (went back without hesitation again today), and is quite solid overhead and as a kick for goal. But just hasn't put his name in front of a bunch of players who are pushing for selection.

Was he injured or sore :( or was he being rested ( possibly for a hard game next week )? :)
