I think that would be preferable to playing even a single more game at Ninja.Just wait until we end up with 2 Home games WA and 2 home games in NT then you might change your mind...![]()

Fun fact about Kyogle ... 20 years ago this year four kids from Kyogle High made the NSW state u15 AFL squad. One of them was named after his grandad, a NMFC life member. My bro lived in Kyogle for a time about 30 years ago. As you say, an incredibly beautiful place. I have a bit of ptsd about it though from getting lost on a mountain road in a ****ing shit box car in pouring rain for about 6 hours. Still gives me the shivers.
Edit: In reply to ferbs above.
I've also come to terms with it but I feel like it may be the straw that broke the camels back for some.
I'd rather them say thanks for the top 3 pick, than thanks for the top 2 pickRemember when Setanta O'Hailpin beat up Cameron Cloke then kicked him up the arse in an intraclub?
This is our lot.
We beat Richmond and they say "thanks for the top 3 pick". We're the shitmen doing the kicking.
We lose to Richmond and they say "thanks for the top 3 pick" . We're the shitmen getting kicked.
As Joe Pesci said in "My Cousin Vinnie" - "one way or another- you're getting ****ed."
Post North win.I'd rather them say thanks for the top 3 pick, than thanks for the top 2 pick
In fact this is a pretty big game for us, probably more so than for them. We lose it, and the season looks a whole lot worse than it already is. We win, even by a point, and at least we know we haven't lost to Richmond, which is something.
You have to seriously wonder what jokes are made about our list management team by other clubs. Laughing stock.Post North win.
Brady "Get it up ya, that's pick 3 now, bet ya would've liked it to be pick 2 to go with your own pick um.. ah (confused look working it out).. so you would have picks 2 and um.. hang on (still doing the maths)"
Blair "Yeh you got us a beauty today Brades, well done mate"
Turns and does the dick in cheek hand/mouth action to his Richmond offsider who laughs out loud.
And 5.5 wins.I'd rather them say thanks for the top 3 pick, than thanks for the top 2 pick

Listed as test this week. Hoping he can get up and play half back.Ford is injured
One thing you can say about them is they don't give up, they keep coming even when they have no real right to.Pick 2/4 as opposed to 2/3 should be seen as a negligible difference. 6 wins with that team should be considered nothing short of a miracle. If they have any patriotism about their club, which I suspect they do, they'll be doing everything they can to knock us off
Luckily we bound away like wild stallions when there's no expectation of us winning. One thing you can say about them is they don't give up, they keep coming even when they have no real right to.
Not sure our boys are as experienced as them or have the mental toughness to fight and work as hard as them.
I think it'll be a close game like last time because we struggle whenever expectation is there to win.
I’m from the NW coast (inland) and generally June-July was black frost but beautiful sunny days with the odd gale-force front thrown in. August meant rain and misery. September and October were glorious but bouts of wind. Then from November - March it was Mediterranean with cool-mild (20-25 degree days), blue skies and no wind.I left a beautiful part of Australia cos of the bolded, plus the 80% humidity. That kills you. It never stops raining there anymore either. Was talking to a mate up there on Monday and he said he's moving cos his place hasn't dried out for years. It basically hasn't stopped raining since late 2020. There's not dry/wet season anymore. Just wet seasons and a few sunny days every six months.
I grew up in Hobart. It was generally always milder (ie cooler during the day, warmer at night) than Launceston, further North. Only a degree or two but it was pretty noticeable on the weather report every day.
Then we moved to Melbourne and everyone went on and on about how cold Tassie was. Melbourne actually felt colder. Especially in winter. Shitloads hotter too in summer as well. The Northern Coast of Tassie is pretty nice compared to that.
A feat that has not been witnessed for half a decade…And 5.5 wins.
Pardon the intrusion, I come in peace.
Last night I was joined by Marnie of Kanga TV to chat about this weeks upcoming game which I dubbed the David Bourke Cup.
Marnie is doing great things in the North content space including her great chat with David King the other week.
For anyone wanting to check out our chat from last night, see below:
-The amount of players we have traded the Roos over the years
-both teams form line heading into this game
-Importance of winning for both sides
-key match ups
-Players of interest
-State of Origin returning
-Plus more!
A really great chat with Marnie, hope you all enjoy and good luck for this weekend!
Well the plan at half fwd and wing wasn’t workinghe hasn't done much there so far. I don't understand our plan with him. Are we trying to turn him into a Sicily-type, minus the moaning?

Since moving, I’ve noticed how a much longer, drawn out winter is and wind, f*cking so much wind.
On the back of the massive CCJ contract news, we’ll rise to the occasion and absolutely destroy these blokes.
North by 3 points.
Mate you’re dreaming.Listed as test this week. Hoping he can get up and play half back.
