He’s the quintessential backup player. If we were halfway decent, Bailey and Toby would be wonderful backup in the event of injury. Every good team needs these guys. If they don’t exist, you’re not winning anything. Injuries are one of the few guarantees.

Yep. It's mildly amusing seeing oppo posters, and even our own, downplay his talents. Easy best player in the league potential. If there's been a silkier mover this century, I can't remember him

I haven't mentioned stats once.

I respect his talent. I don't see the point in pumping games into pretenders like Fisher, Scott and others. We are too short and mostly because our skills are so poor.

Yeah, I'm biased. I'm biased against blokes who will never be good enough taking games from those who potentially will.

After Wayne, Winston and Byron were my favourite players. Wellsy also kicked one from 50 on the boundary to win a game V carlton at the G (debut?)

Wellsy could deliver the ball laces out basically a 180 degree radius. The way he passed that footy was ridiculous. Cleanest ball user the club has ever seen.

send stephen’s to daicos, the only player in our team who can run with him and his tackling and defensive pressure has been a lot better this year, may even get him back the other way, see how he goes against the 2nd best player in the competition.

Fisher is the obvious choice for Sub and I have to say our team looks pretty balanced. Hard to expect a win and the Pies tails are certainly up but I'd like to think we can give this a red hot shake.

Their re-bounding defenders (Houston, Daicos, Quaynor etc) and small/mid size forwards (Hill, Elliot and McCreary) look dangerous but if we can turn the game into a stoppage/territory war we can win this.
