This is how I would line up in the back half if I was Collingwood

Maley - Frampton
Larkey - Howe
Darling - Maynard
Zurharr - Houston
Curtis - Quaynor
You’d isolate darling on Maynard
And zurhaar on Houston

Should easily outmark in those contests

Either way we will get 1-2 mismatches since they have Darcy Moore out that we need to target

Then whoever the rotating mid that is forward (jy, Parker, sheez) has to keep Josh daicos accountable assuming JK is sub otherwise he can do that

Darling is not really known as a huge marking threat so Maynard would be able to use his smarts on most occasions to at least halve a contest.

Houston on Zurhaar is a bit of a risk for them but Houston would be able to hurt on the rebound in that match up.

I could watch that goal on repeat for the rest of my life.
I just watched it about 5 times - I remember it from the day it happened. Absolute beauty.
Looking at Winston today, he actually looks quite well for his age. The teeth is the only issue and would be great if the club helped him out on that one and looked after him to get it fixed up

All this talk about mismatches sounds good in theory. But if Adelaide couldn't take any advantage of it last week despite being a better side than us and having a much better three talls - it's unlikely we will get much joy from it either.

Unless we dominate them all over the ground as we did last time we played them for a half of football.

Our forward line doesn’t work well enough as a group to make space and exploit the height advantage.

Pies missing Sidebottom, De Goey, Moore, Schulz, McStay.
We have who, just Arch?

That’s a very very strong line up still.

Need to be on from the get go. If we don’t come out firing opening bounce we could be in strife.

the conditions didn't help them last week

we will be under the roof on a fast deck

They’re stronger than last year.

So are we.

Need to exert early scoreboard pressure.

Curtis back helps significantly.

Gee the bar is really low innit?
What do you expect from 32 yo key forward? He's kicking goals, reliving in the ruck, creating space for other forwards and it has allowed Curtis and Zurhaar to get off the leash. Surely you can see how better he sets up in the forward line?

If you forget the 98 gf.

Wellsy best kick in Norths history.
Wellsy tended to overkick it and it would miss the leading target. Shannon Grant, Craig Scholl, Phil Krakouer, Adrian McAdam, Winnie I think were all better kicks. Carey was superb and easily the best wet weather kick I have ever seen. Didn't see enough of Blight, Schimma or Grieg to remember but I hear they were pretty good.

send stephen’s to daicos, the only player in our team who can run with him and his tackling and defensive pressure has been a lot better this year, may even get him back the other way, see how he goes against the 2nd best player in the competition.
No Stephens is an outside player. Play to his strengths. It would be like putting Polec on Crippa
