In the normal course of events you would say he has had 5 or so games to understand the level of AFL football and understand where he needs to improve and send him back to the VFL knowing he will be better for the experience.

Considering this is the first of 3 games in 2 weeks it wouldn't necessarily be frowned upon to rest a couple of blokes.
I reckon we might as well bite the bullet and rest a couple of seniors. Taz looks a little down recently, maybe his ribs could do with a rest.

In the second match, rest some of the kids who have been playing consistently (maybe even LDU as well, depending on how he's pulling up after such a long layoff). Probably Polec as well considering his foot issues.

Then rest a few more of the senior blokes for the third game.

Will definitely be interesting to see how the league approaches these upcoming games, and if the club decides to rest a few key players and we end up losing to Adelaide... Not necessarily the worst result in all honesty.

Agree - he needs to be given a solid block of games. They want to play him off HBF so without wanting to overindulge your fantasy too much- I think JMac probably makes way to create this opportunity for the longer term.

Ideally we see will walker as well. He really looked the goods - as good as any of our other recent youngsters.

Actually he's only our 4th best meters gained player.... and 47th in the league (Taz is our best, and 21st in the league). Polec has been subpar most of the year. Been a bit bewildering really, some of his kicks each week have been shameful.

I think we've done it every game this year. The number of first halves we've won this year.

Goldstein needs to play out of his skin since all I’m hearing today that Nic Nat has moved ahead of him after hearing Bruce blowing his junket in his pants today then hearing how great Grundy is going this year then just hearing Gerald Healy -an original North hater from the 90s rambling on how that Deliverence wanna dumb boy Gawn is the best ruck in the game.
So with Goldstein and hopefully a few more players step up next week
