Think Brown is more rested than dropped given everything that's happened to him this week off the field but the break might be good for him to just freshen up.

Shaw: It’s been a long road for Maj. He’s had a tough time over the last couple of years. He’s done the work, and I’m really pleased to be able to have him back out there. The reaction of teammates showed how much he means to us.

Shaw: We’ve put a lot of work in with him, and he’s played a couple of scratchies. We think he’s in a good position to put in a good performance.

Shaw: We’ve made a couple of changes due to the position we’re in. Ben Brown and Jared Polec will be left out this weekend.

Shaw: For Jared, his body of work hasn’t been up to what we expect. We’ve had the discussion with him and he knows what he needs to work on.

Shaw: Polec is more about his role and playing to that. We have certain standards and behaviours that we judge the team by and everyone stands accountable. Jared’s a great player, and he’ll bounce back. He’ll be involved over the next few weeks.

Shaw: Maj has shown great courage in speaking about his mental health battle, and he’s such a resilient guy. We are all so proud of him. Hopefully he can take a few clunks for us.

Shaw: We know that the last 6 weeks haven’t been acceptable. But there are some positives that have come out of it. The young guys are getting some games in and are leading the way.

In saying that, its a warning shot for our entire list.
