And some of them will rock up in their Eagle colours like they did for the Brisbane game.

Absolute idiots.
Again.... It doesn't bother me.

I remember 10 years ago back in 2016 and 2017 WAFL grand finals when Peel Thunder beat Subiaco, there were eagles fans at those grand finals.

Mainly to cheer for Subiaco . They dislike Peel Thunder for the dockers links and Peel was our reserves side

Reckon that if BOM is predicting this amount of rain 6 days out, we should be expecting a wet game…thank goodness our seats are undercover…

I thought we might have another edge with it raining and our strong Victorian percentage players... but turns out Suns have a lot of Vics as well...

I'm sure guys like Serrong, Voss, Kahuna, Reid are used to playing in the wet - so I'm not sure we make any changes on the weather? Thoughts?

you know SE QLD gets nearly twice the annual rainfall of perth, right?

it just happens in a different time of year

It is far too early to have any idea if it will rain during the game.

Even if it rains during the day, it could easily done by the time game starts. I would guess, that the strong winds would mean the rain should blow over pretty quickly, plus it may give us an advantage kicking for goal.

Yesterday it was 3-20mm…now it’s 2-15 so it’s getting better

Hope the crowd still turns up....

Probs unlikely to beat the crowd from the 2022 elim final now though unfortunately
I would find that truly bizarre that someone would purchase tickets to a final and then not turn up.

It's probably going to be wet but the worst of the weather looks to be passing Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. There is a chance it could have cleared up at least a bit by game time. Unfortunately though, we will be in the pool of cold air behind the cold front and there will be the odd shower.

Seabreeze is showing very high winds from Friday noon until Sunday morning. Not sure if this complicates the weather forecasting. Things could blow through quickly. Or we could get a double whammy of wind and rain, which makes the game a crapshoot.

I worry a little about the crowd. Not in terms of numbers, but the Carlton game had miserable weather and a shocking crowd with zero energy. I think it clearly rubbed off on the players. I hope a final is enough to get people up and about, and we start well to keep the crowd fired up.
