Be more than happy for The Corporation Which Owns The Entire Coast Of WA to play us into form again.
Alex Pearce with 3 goals and the Roscoe, just edging out MJ.

Autocorrect! Also Pav and Dawson should either retire mid season or be phased out. Just play the kids
Grow some ****ing respect.

Pavlich is still doing well. Do you want to hold the forward line together with.... 5'9 guys and Tabby Pussy Cat?

Pav has been such an ornament to the club, the man is allowed to retire whenever he wants.

You're an embarrassment to the only bonafide hero the club has had. Shit call.

Dawson yeah nah whatevs. Indifferent.

I simply do not see why most on here rate Sheridan. I just cannot get any love for the bloke.
his ceiling is like Suban's peak. I just don't see anything the guy does that is excellent or unique, and he is too average in every department to even be the sort of full package someone like Patrick Cripps is.

Truly one of the weirder obsessions on this forum. The calls loving Croz are bizarre too. He's had a long line of patronisation yet has barely improved and only in every fourth game will he perform to an exciting potential. Those two guys are the exact same players they were in 2013.

Just an observation but I can't remember a start to a season where teams have been so poor with their disposals.

Collingwood, Richmond, Melbourne, Freo, West Coast and Essendon have been poor. I haven't watched the other teams this week, but surely the cause must be the reduced interchanges?

Edit: Aside from Melbourne and Essendon being crap

Probably got something to do with the faster games showing up a few of the players that aren't up to it. Apart from WC who obviously still have some demons I'd guess none of those teams will make finals.

Clancee was one of three players for freo to have over 80% disposal efficiency last night, he is the least of our problems. He is also a very good mark and a booming kick.

barlow needs to go out, he is to slow and everything he touches screwed up. (55% DE, with 13 of his very few 16 disposals being handballs) that is atrocious, not to mention how many passages of play he screwed up.

And also mayne needs to be on the chopping block. Cannot do anything right. Dropped marks, shanked kicks and poor skills make him a below average player.

Id love to see tucker and grey come in and move fyfe forward more.

After that display, interesting to see how the selection panel responds.

In: Tucker
Out: Clancee

Can start with that.

Only so many that can be dropped.

In - Griffin
Out - Clancee

Need 2 rucks against WCE and AP needs to play back. Langdon & Weller need to keep playing.
Wouldn't mind Blakeky coming in for Suban too

I haven't watched the whole game yet so I may be way off mark but from what I saw Clancee took forever to dispose of the ball weighing up his options letting the opposition get into defensive positions. Also to note a hospital handpass is still considered an effective disposal and so are long bombs to a contest. Sometimes stats alone don't paint a full picture.

Complete agree on Barlow and Mayne.

I hope Al Pearce and Langdon don't get dropped. Al Pearce in my opinion is playing a role similar to Westoff at Port. Tall but skinny. Yet playing both ends. He was running everywhere last night. Langdon should stay on determination alone
AP has had an interrupted preseason and this was evident last night with a few fumbles - he has really good hands normally. He has huge upside - just needs game time to develop.

Agree persistent with AP , Ross also quite happy with his ruck , I think 7 hitout. Goal will come be patient.

So in other words, just gift games to him because he is all we have, sounds terrific :drunk:
That emoji, really? Spare me. You wanna give up on Tabs completely and see us play Pav as our only forward, only to be screwed next year? I'd rather give Tabs every chance, even if he fails, we tried, in case you haven't noticed, hes our only forward we've got. You're quite smart Joker, yeah terrific.

Yeah no point not playing tabs until someone like apeness is fit or someone else is showing enough consistent form with peel to take his spot. We can't keep going on with pav as the only tall forward. Just put pav at absolute full forward and have tabs roaming in to the wings a little bit. Use his speed and tank to his advantage. Less pressure up the field if he needs to clunk a mark or kick it in to the forward 50.

Sod tab got tank but no speed, in order to compensate that ruck a bit, try to use his right foot to kick and be a quick decision maker when roaming in to the wings all this should be on display in the Nab.

Going with the personal insults really suits you mike.

Where did i say give up on him? But hey, if it makes you believe more in your argument then good for you!

If you didn't quite notice but APearce and Fyfe played as key forward so there are options.

Taberner had 25 disposals and 2.3 for Peel on the weekend so the week off may have given him the kick up the arse he needed.

Earn your spot, this aint the under 15s...

I'll be offshore with very little exposure from weagles fans

Just bloody kiwis..

Not sure which ones worse [emoji12]

Mayne has to have a spell in the WAFL. Not buying the whole "there's no one to replace him" rubbish - there's a ton of ways to replace him.

He is severely lacking in confidence and needs to go back, get some touch and find the love of footy again a la Taberner who collected 20-dd touches.

That will make sense only if Taberner carries that form into his next AFL game. He's never done it yet.

Haven't read the rest of this thread, or any the reactionary threads on this board but here's my two cents for this week:

Go in unchanged. Last week wasn't a total disaster, we had lots of shots on goal, and lots of good entries into the 50. We also had lots of rubbish entries into the 50. Continue with the game style we are trying to develop which imo is world's different from last year. Pearce, Weller and Langdon were both good without being great and will need the continued game time to get that consistency. Taberner's and Mzungu's games in the WAFL were also not enough for me to make it back into the side. Tucker and Collins would be the only one's I would consider if at all.

Nobody does forward pressure act as medium size forward as good as Mayne for freo end of the story. D.Pearce skill is average but he got speed, no way you going to drop our two best 22 to peel.

Not at the moment, but they will have to come eventually, unfortunately neither are going to be part of our next premiership push.

Tabs will only get better by playing, if he even can. We held onto Pav cause we thought we'd contend again, but we're not going to. We're cooked in round 2 and it's time to go for a top 10 pick

Mayne missed the lot with 3 shots on Saturday. He's cooked, needs to go kick some goals in the wafl, relax and get his head right

WOULD love to see Tucker - one NAB game I saw and he is damn creative and good decision maker - just reminds me of jake lever from Adelaide.
