That is because despite popular opinion we do actually try to attack and as soon as it comes unstuck we go back into our defensive style. And I don't think that is neccessarily a decision our coach makes halfway through a quarter, I think it is a lack of confidence. What Craigy has to do is some how give our players the courage to take the game on regardless of the result. That is so much easier said than done.
Maybe that courage to continue to moving forward would be easily obtained if they had someone in front of them leading out for the ball. Rather than having 10 players around the ball trying to made a 30 cm hand ball each time.
Having player behind the ball sounds like the coach to me.
