Out: Treloar (injury), Mayne (no good)
In: Murray, Sier
Maynard replaces Treloar through the midfield. Murray replaces Maynard defensively and Sier comes in for the 'try hard' Mayne.
I think it’s a danger game. Get over it.On cue, the weekly "danger game" post.
Its a road trip and they have beaten us there before. So its a danger game............ just like every game is a danger game.
We'll win though. The club isnt going to simply throw the towel in because Treloar might be badly injured. Our depth has got us through so far this year and with available options like Varcoe Brown Murray Sier and Wills, we will forge onwards.
As for Treloar, the whole situation is a bit weird so I'd rather wait and see what his surgeon says.

Going on what Walsh has stated, Varcoe will be playing in the VFL so maybe not an option. This is definitely not an ideal situation, but with the group of POSSIBLE players we have returning from injury, we could curb the loss of Treloar.
I understand the need for speed through the midfield. I believe this is the ideal week to try Stephenson & Maynard in the midfield. GCS don’t have many big bodies in their midfield. Maynard could play a similar role to Treloar, and Stephenson could play more on the wing.
I do think we are 1 defender too many, and this was evident by Greenwood having to push forward.
I would bring in : Sier & Brown for Treloar & Greenwood.
Jordan De Goey plays more in the midfield. I would play Daicos in the forward line.
Next week, I would drop Daicos/Brown for Varcoe.
In a few weeks, we drop a player for Elliot.
I think it’s a danger game. Get over it.
) to replace Treloar's pozy.Daicos is lucky we have few options in the magoos as he was bog ordinary against the scum. Still.. prefer him to get senior games to fast track his development while we can.
Mayne might as well have stayed home in front of the telly, he was deadset useless. Again, he’ll probably get a reprieve due to lack of options.
Fitness staff need to start earning their paycheques and get some quality blokes up and running asap as our tough 4 week run looms large.
Thank Gawd we are playing a trainwreck this week cos our options are getting thinner than Bert Newton’s hair.
And what does Sier need to do to get a game? Must be frustrating for the kid, but great to see he’s still having a dip.
They’re the worst side in the league by a fair margin. Even without Treloar our midfield is 10x better than theirs.I think it’s a danger game. Get over it.
I’m not trying to be right, I hope to be very wrong. I have a bad feeling about this weekend. We were below average against Carlton, and the loss of Treloar is significant.I think somebody says that every week.
Somebody will be right eventually.
Get over it.

Chris Mayne wasn't useless again.. He had a bad game, he's been in ripping form all month.Daicos is lucky we have few options in the magoos as he was bog ordinary against the scum. Still.. prefer him to get senior games to fast track his development while we can.

Of course people will disagree with my view, but there is no need to try and be superior about it.
No need to - plenty of others do it for youNot disagreeing with your view, just pointing out somebody will say "this is a danger game" every bloody week. The law of averages says that occasionally they turn out to be correct.
As for being superior...I wasnt trying.
Ripping form is a bit of a stretch. He’s been serviceable at best.Chris Mayne wasn't useless again.. He had a bad game, he's been in ripping form all month.
We saw insane improvement from a heap of players this year (WHE, Phillips, Thomas, Grundy etc) plus added some quality in Stephenson and Schaz... i think we can genuinely contend next year and the year after if injuries go our way for once... and still go far into the finals this year.It is laughable how everyones writing us off after treloars injury. We are building something great and i would go as far as to say we will be better than we were in 2010. This team will win multiple flags. Teams that are good don't rely on one player. We are becoming and will be a force.
I tend to agree, AT is a loss but hopefully we can reset bring in Elliott and settle again. Treloar may or may not be there come finals but if he makes it back all the better. It is laughable how everyones writing us off after treloars injury.
