i really hope the boys got a spray from the coaching staff today. and from now on we need to play our best preforming 22 not the best looking 22 on paper.
they have had the same issues since the first practice game, time for the coach & coaching staff to be sacked.

you would be lucky to get back 5 bucks from that.

does anyone not think that post should get a game?
i thought matt white was terrible last night.. only did good things he did were in the last quarter when nothing mattered

Geez you're a bit harsh on White?? Terrible last night??

19 possessions and everyone hit their mark. 5 inside 50's, 5 tackles not a bad night's work and in our best I thought.

Well it's glaringly obvious that we are a bunch of softies. Terry, if you want to save your career, shove that zone down the ******* drain and play man on man football by selecting tough, hard nut's accompanied by our skilled players.

OUT: Raines, Cousins, McMahon, Edwards, Bowden
IN: Polo, Thomson, Nahas, Collins, Hislop

FB: Newman Thursfield Moore
HB: Polo McGuane Tambling
C: White Foley Richardson
HF: Morton Riewoldt Jackson
FF: Brown Schulz Nahas
R: Simmonds Deledio Tuck
INT: Hislop Thomson Browne Collins

No changes except for injuries. Send that same team out there against the Cats to prove that the Carlton game was an exception. Those boys have something to prove.

If we dont have 3 wins by R6, Wallace will be jumping ship anyway before they axe his suntanned ar$.

This is what will probably happen:

Out: Raines and Cousins
In: King and Thomson

Terry will use the excuse that the players need to redeem themselves, and we end up getting beaten by 45-60 points. Geelong to have a bad game.

This is what I thought might also happen.. It will definately be game over if Wallace does this and we loose by more than 60 points....
I'm praying for wet and windy conditions at skilled next week, as i'm heading down there with my geelong-supporting flat mate...
If the conditions are wet and windy we might get to see a half of competitive footy!! if not maybe a quarter...lol:o

In's And Out's Richmond vs Geelong

Who would u like to see in?

For mine.In - Rance Polo Thompson Graham
Out -Cous(inj) Raines(inj) Edwards Browne

Need sum tuffness in the team.. blokes prepared to tackle, would even like hislop in for machmon but we all know thats not gonna happen

Re: In's And Out's Richmond vs Geelong

Add Bowden to that list. Brown is skating on thin ice.. 1 more performance like that it's straight to Coburg (First time for everything). Just damn lazy these 2..

Ins: Rance, Polo, Thomson, Collins
Outs: Raines, Cousins, Bowden, McMahon

Re: In's And Out's Richmond vs Geelong

Hi,
mcmahon is our worst player and can anyone tell me who pick 18 was that we gave up for this skinny dude that cannot kick?
Polo should come straight in, he was 2nd best behind Richo against Freo in Nab cup
Browne is not up to afl standard, he fumbled everytime he went near it.
Bring in Graham
copusins out
Bring in Thompson
Raines out
Jake King in
I would tell Jay Schultz to stop being so lazy.
Most of all we need a game plan that we understand and can operate!!!

Re: In's And Out's Richmond vs Geelong

Makes no difference who comes in or goes out. Geelong will rape us if they are half bothered. Hopefully they will as well since a 18 or 24 point defeat will mean Terry pointlessly hanging on.

Nothing has changed this week, the side still should be picked on form, which I don't think it was round 1, obviously we have had two unfortunate injuries to players within our best 22, whilst we still have up 5-6 in our best 22, who weren't available for rnd1, still unavailable, Cotch, Connors, Patto, Coughlan, Pettifer, Hughes .
We also have two of best and more realible players over the past 5-6 years in the worst form of their careers in Newman and Bowden.
Players like Hislop, who hasn't shown to much, haven't all of a sudden become exceptionally good players, we do need to be a little rational.
Tatically I'd like to see us take them on at their own game, we have nothing to loose, but may gain some very important confidence by playing attaking football, going back into our shells and playing defensively, it just don't work for us.

FB: Edwards Thursfield Moore
HB: Polo McGuane Rance
C: Newman Foley Richardson
HF: Bling Riewoldt Brown
FF: Lids Schulz Morton
R: Simmonds Tuck White( Ablett, good experience and might assist him in his development of where to run at stoppages )
INT: Thomson Browne Bowden Jackson

Out : Cousins, Raines, McMahon
In : Thompson, Polo , Rance

FB: Newman Thursfield Moore
HB: Polo McGuane Rance
C: White Foley Richardson
HF: Tambling Riewoldt Brown
FF: Hislop Shulz Morton
Fol: Simmonds, Tuck, Jackson
Inter: Browne, Thomson, Collins, King

In: Thomson, Hislop, Collins, Polo, Rance
Out: Bowden, Edwards, Cousins, Raines, McMahon

A lot of changes but the message must be sent. If you don't want to play for the jumper then you wont play.

Backline will be much tougher with Polo and Rance in there. King on the bench can be brought on to do a job on Stokes if needed.

Hislop will add hardness to the forward line. He is as hard as they come.

While Thomson, despite his average kicking, is good by hand, hard at it and is a footballer.

Collins deserves his first run and who better to do it against than the cats. Let him run with Jimmy Bartel, Gary Jnr and Selwood for a bit so he can see how it's done.

You also appear to have dropped Lids and brought in King ??

Um that was a mistake. Here's the revised team. Thanks for that PTF.

Never said about letting them get away with it several times.

This is off the back of one game, and you cannot drop blokes without giving them a chance at reprieve.

They put in another shit performance? Im with you all the way. But they need the opportunity to right the wrong's, otherwise its simply not fair. :thumbsu:

At last, a measured response.....this doesn't mean TigerGlory isn't as pissed off as the rest of us, it means that mass changes rarely, if ever produce miracles.

Now that Raines is out we cannot drop McMahon - despite his dreadful performance. He doesnt have to read Big Footy to realise he's under pressure. I don't believe dropping people to the magoos helps their confidence at all - any half decent AFL player will blitz in the VFL, they then have to get back to the real stuff - nothing changes - the AFL guys are still the same size & speed.

Gotta get back on the same horse that bucked you off, not a flipping shetland pony!!!

It's seems more important for a coach to be a psychologist than a selector.

It's the coach's performance in which I'll be showing interest.

OUT: Cousins, Raines
IN: Thompson, Rance

GO TIGERS!!!

So when Bowden got dropped at the start of last year then came back and played good football it wasn't a good move? It didn't send a good message to the rest of the playing group?

Alarms bells must be sounded, we cannot afford to coast through this season.

OUT: Cousins, Raines, McMahon, Bowden, Edwards, Brown (Pathetic performance, lazy, soft, disinterested)

IN: Thomson, Rance, Polo, Collins, Hislop, King/Nahas (Playing Brown's role in FP but with some defensive pressure and 2nd efforts)

OUT: Cousins, Raines, McMahon, Bowden, Edwards. Would also have stern words to Brown about pathetic, lazy, no effort performances.

IN: Thomson, Rance, Polo, Collins, Hislop

Bowden, Pettifer & Tivendale got dropped specifically because they weren't tackling enough

Brown is taking the piss...

And they had more than one game to prove themselves.

They were dropped at the end of Round 3 were they not? Thats 3 games at reprieve, and blokes here are calling for the heads of half the side after a single shit game. :thumbsu:

You don't panic after 1 poor performance and make wholesale changes to a side that got torn a new one. We will make the changes we need to make and at this stage there are only 2, Raines and Cousins.

You will be a turncoat once they put in another pathetic performance. Changes must be made.

yeah you don't panic but at least play the best possible 22 and that means dropping mcmahon for good, he's the softest player in the afl

Out: Raines, Cousins, McMahon, Browne and Edwards
IN: Rance, Polo, Thomson, Gus and Collins.

Rance, Polo and Thomson pick themselves. Collins deserves his chance. Would not mind seeing Polo go to Bartel or take Steve Johnson on the HBF. Thomson add some grunt and Rance for McMahon a straight swap. Same for Browne and Gus, Browne didn't look up to it. These changes are not knee jerk reactions. All those boys were pushing for selection and after that poor performance changes must be made if we are to stand half a chance against the cats.
