Assuming the charges against Matera and Hunter are upheld, who do you think will come in? I doubt either Gardiner or Seaby are ready after a knee strain and a hamstring respectively. I'm guessing Butler will come in for Matera and I'm guessing they want to replace Hunter with a similar size player so perhaps Daniel McConnell will finally make his long awaited debut after being an emergency a couple of times this year.

Selwood needs a full game in the WAFL so I'd swap him for Butler.

Gardy should be okay

Wooden to come in as backup for Wirra

I can only think of Graham to come in for Hunter.

Adkins and Sampi are enough small forwards.

What about ..DOOGS!!11 How far away is he. Also dont think Bunnings should be dropped hes giving solid support through the middle coming off the bench.
Butler should come in for Matera
Grayham (maybe Doogs) for Hunter
If Gardy is fit than Gardy for Hunter.

Magro reckons he needs another 2 weeks in WAFL

We definately don't want to bring him back early given what happened in round 1. Leave him in the WAFL for the time being.

I reckon bring in McConnell, stick him up forward, bit of change from Phil might be unexpected.

For Hunter, I don't know, he's a big out atm - hopefully we can get him off.

Eagles will murder emm and win the Winmar Cup although I cannot see the connection. Surely it should be the Heatley or Sierakowski Cup.

Good point !

Hunter will play so that is good news. I dont know anything about the myriad of injuries we have. Is Gardiner ready to come straight back in, what about Seaby? Is Wirrpunda alright to go?

Once I know the injury status then I can have a go at who should come in and who should be omitted.

With Gardiner coming in - and Seaby likely to miss - I reckon we should stick him in as the back up ruck, even in the centre bounce.

Goodes did it (out of necessity, yes) and with the smaller centre circle I reckon he's not likely to get injured.

He could then move up across the half forward line. His best game of the year was in the Wizard Cup Grand Final and he was more damaging closer to the action, rather than leading from FF.

So if Gardiner is fit, you would leave him out?

Good question. Who do you drop? He has been in and out of the side all season. I would give him another week to be on the safe side.

Really depends on who is cleared to play.

According to Woosh, he thinks Gardiner will be right, Seaby probably will be given another week.

If the fitness staff say Gardiner is fine to play, I'd bring him in for Staker, and toss up between Butler/McConnell for Matera. Probably D-mac given Butler has already had an opportunity this year.

DMac can't be far away. But I think Butler could get the recall. Both if Selwood gets some WAFL game time and join Matera out of the side.

If Wirra is not right then Josh Wooden may get the call up.

Gardy for Staker would be an obvious swap.

McIntosh Cup

Ashley McIntosh's Dad John played for the Saints and I believe he won a B&F to boot.

How about not having a cup for this game? I mean who really gives a ******** about all these meaningless trophies?

Really at most we should have at most two matchups that have a trophy: the Derby and perhaps something to do with the jacket games against Essendon. That's it.
