From afc.com.au:

In: Torney
Out: Van Berlo

Emerg: Skipworth, Vince, Meesen.

Bad luck for Nathan but good to see Jason back i am very confident about this one a loss for mine would be unacceptable

Good to see Meesen in the Emergencies, although I guess there's not many others to be tall.
Yep, good acknowledgement for the Meese. At least he knows he's on the radar. Could be good timing if he's thinking about re-signing.

Good move. Retain Maric and bring in Torney for Van Berlo. I like it.

Its closer for a release of the Meese. If roo drops out will he play?

Good to see JT back..... :thumbsu:

Does anyone know if Clarke was available?? Would be interesting to hear the SANFL teams to see if he gets named for the Bays.

Also, looks like the Meese is close. :D

22 listed players to play, 13 injuries....only leaves 3 available players according to my count....and their listed as emergencies.

Would have been real hard not to get listed as an emergency

You're counting 2 people who are actually in the team as injured.
Although, yes, there isn't really much else to pick from.

Yeah maths may not be 100% accurate - but you get the jist ;)

Who cares? The Meese is a chance of playing if Kenny drops out.

The Saints have no ruckmen...perfect opportunity...plus he could push forward which would really stretch their defense.

He could be a chance ahead of Vince for this very reason. Skippy would come in if a midfield type player pulled out you'd think.

EDIT - Just checked the Saints line up and Blake is out with a hamstring.

Which one of you or your wife has 2 toes or fingers missing WW?? :p

With the 2 veterans we have 40 on our list - leaves 5 available not 3. ;)

Doc is another week away. He will play in the SANFL during our bye.

interesting comment, we actually won hitouts last wk :O:O:O
and rix is a revelation, seems to team well with ackland who had his best game last wk. our defence is very solid, hudghton will prob take roo with mcgregor prob taken by maguire and s fisher to hentschel or vice versa. l fisher likely to take bode.
btw what is this fascination with "the meese" is he a ruckman, or forward...seems to have height, enough height and strength to beat maguire, who beat hall (strong lad he is)??? is he young? in the draft last yr? does he have much muscle?

Never let facts get in the way of a good story...now you've ruined my karma ;) :p

BTW I'd love to see the Crows take Meesen to Melbourne as the travelling emergency...would be a real filup for the lad

Griffin, Gibson, Hinge and Obst are the only players in our entire squad that are not on the injured list and are not named as an emergency.
22 named + 3 emergencies = 25 + 11 on injured list* = 36

* didn't count Roo and McGregor because they're named in the squad.

Fine by me, as long as he gets back in time for the Legs game, which is unlikely. So in summary, the Crows can let the Meese Man stay in SA. :)
