Surely Bock is preffered to Hart?
I think you need to get off the **** :D

With McLeod going under the knife, Hart is as close to a perfect replacement as we have. Hart will get a game before Bock every day of the week and twice on sunday.

For me there will be one change,

IN: Hentschel
OUT: McLeod

Would like to know how the players in the SANFL went ... but I would consider:

IN: Hentschel, Porplyzia
OUT: Hart, McLeod

Bock deserves to be kept over an underdone Hart IMO & Eagles likely to play 3 tall forwards, gives us another tall option.

:thumbsu: No brainer if you ask me.

Bock will now be run into form.....another two to three weeeks and Perrie will be brought back for Stevens.

Trust me it will happen

Agree and Welsh will come in say Rnd 20 and replace Bode.

What's wrong with Bode????

IMO, Welshy will be lucky to get a run in the majors (IF he doesn't re-injure himself in the meantime.)

Out: Andrew Mcleod (surgery)

By round 20, it will be time for Andrew McLeod to return and he is the likely replacement for Mathew Bode.

Andrew McLeod is not going to play SANFL simply because we cannot find someone to be dropped, just as Ben Hart will not play SANFL. So unfortunately for Mathew Bode (or Kris Massie) it looks like they may be squeezed out of the 22 in a few weeks.

Over the next 4 weeks I think the selectors will fine a way of getting Trent Hentschel (this week), Ian Perrie, Ben Hudson, and Andrew McLeod back into the side. Scott Stevens will come out for Ian Perrie in a few weeks and Bode or Massie will come out for Mcleod. I cannot see Scott Welsh playing any AFL this season unless we have to put Mark Ricciuto back into the midfield as Welsh and Ricciuto would not be able to coexist in the same forward line.

Nothing is wrong with Mathew Bode, it just a matter of playing the number’s game and 28 player doesn’t go into 22 places. This year I can see as many as 6 or 7 player (all who have had very good seasons) miss out on playing finals football; do they deserve to miss out? Absolutely not but due to the fact we have a plethora of depth, they ultimately will.

That’s one of the negatives of having a squad with truck loads of depth some will miss out.

Bode out of the current players on feild would be the most likely to be dropped along with Stevens, Friday night he played well as a small forward, Welsh is our FF, very good around forward 50 stoppages, very good at opposition kick ins, very good on the lead.
