I call bullshitHow can Grundy be a late out when he isn’t even an in yet ??????
I’ve got this weird sense that Oxley stays in the team to play as a loose interceptor even with Howe and Goldsack returning.

Second qualifying final: West Coast v Collingwood
Field umpires: Mathew Nicholls, Simon Meredith, David Harris
As someone that doesn't follow umpires. What does this mean for us?
So where does he fit into the following back 6?
Langdon, Dunn, Maynard
Howe Scharenberg, Crisp
He's not a better key position player, mark, kick or set up player than Dunn or Scharenberg. He's not a batter mark or set up player than Langdon or Howe. He's not a better running backman than Crisp or Maynard. He doesn't provide the grunt and kicking skills of Maynard.
He's a tall who often struggles 1 on 1 and can't mark well over his head, so he's an average KPD who can't be a mark and kick player. He is a jack of all trades, master of none. I love the bloke but to suggest he is guaranteed best 22 is nonsense. He is obviously not.
I dont know why Dunn and Scharenberg have been brought into a thread about this weeks selection.
Or why we are discussing Langdon.
The question is simple. Goldsack or Madgen. Arguments for both but I argue for Goldy.
Dunn and Shaz are injured do how are they relevant?
We didnt have Moore and Treloar last time and lost Sier in the 2nd quater. These guys could easily change our dynamic and cause the Eagles big some headaches.

Or Schmidt![]()
Treloar no, but Moore actually did play. And as I distinctly recall, he was actually a shining light to come out of that result...

Have a feeling that if Treloar is ready to go then it will be a midfielder that misses out. We have Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Adams, Treloar (if plays), Greenwood (tagging), Phillips, Sier and Aish.
Throw in DeGoey and Thomas who can also spend time through the middle.
Of the names mentioned it would be out of Sier and Aish as to who would miss out for Treloar - personally I would keep Sier in.
Given the strength of WC forward line it makes sense to keep either Madgen/Oxley/Murphy in the side.
I think we replace two of them with Howe and Goldsack - who misses out is the question.
Treloar in for Aish
Howe in for Murphy
Goldsack in for Madgen/Oxley
Would start DeGoey in the middle and Treloar up forward.
Could imagine Grundy tapping down to DeGoey who bursts away at the first bounce. Get him Adams and Pendles in there early.
