oh well... another week of mookay being picked just means another week of me hoping we get absolutely flogged.

if mookay is the answer.. then im sorry to say that the people (nicks, his assistant coaching panel, Roo and others that may put their two cents worth in regarding selection) are not the right people to take us forward. they surely cant be this ******* dumb or blind.

the only way that changes is more and more heavy defeats.. and heads start to roll. starting with Roo who, given his penchant for praising mookay during game day commentary, i suspect may be one of the main one’s influencing these ridiculous decisions.

there has been one constant in the management and coaching staff since around 2016/17 when this “must pick the experienced guys at all cost even if they arent 100% fit” policy seemed to have started... and thats Roo. everyone else, except Hass has gone and been replaced. Roo is still there with his fat little fingers stuck in each and every pie..

mookay was absolute and utter dogshit last weekend and hasnt been much better than dogshit in every game he’s played so far this year.

im now hoping for a 100+ flogging..

We rushed Hamill back from his ankle because we're morons, that led to less than stellar form and now we've dropped him, also because we're morons.

In a way you have to admire our consistency.

Overshadows the otherwise good, sensible selections which is a shame.

But even these "good" selections are weeks too late, we needed that extra tall defender well before now.

I think there is enough evidence in to show how much Nicks is in over his head, will join the long list of rookie coaches that will get the chop from the AFC.

Shame the Chief Buffoon doesn't realise what he is doing to the club, loved him as a player but is quickly catching up to Trigg in the amount of damage he is doing to the club.

Hard to see where Nick's is taking this squad with selections like this. I am sure he has a vision but I don't know many that can see it. No point getting to the end of your second year as coach without taking the playing list forward.

The worst thing is we now have 0 experienced AFL listed players in our SANFL team. Develop on your own boys.

This is also an extremely valid observation.

Mackay was meant to be kept on as a mentor/teacher for the young players; instead we'll pick him ahead of them, even though our SANFL team would probably benefit more from having him.

He better be the sub.
