Just thought I'd throw my name up for consideration :thumbsu:
After a performance like that, I'm sure they will find a spot in the starting 22 for me.
thats how many we are going to need on the field if we are going to win by the looks

bit hard from down here old mate , just got to rely on results and the media !
however one thing is certain we do need him to produce consistantly for sure , we have very limited scoring options and poor old browny needs a cutout so bad , great to see pappy kick 3 fantastic effort

We need some kind of Greek or Cyprian supporters like the ones at the tennis that just chant all the time for someone like Karnezis and clap and make noise and sing songs. Paparone sounds Italian but get some of those people too to go off their nut everytime he touches it.

I do that, but instead of singing song I get pissed off and dis every player to screw up.

Update with Hanley out and Redden back. Sorry still can't find a spot for Polkinghorne. I thought about it for a few seconds and then came to my senses. We need to play the team that will take us into 2014 or we are going backwards with a bullet. I notice some posters persist with Patfull at CHB. He's been in ordinary form this year and it is a dream to think that he can continually give away 5-10cm to the competitions gun beasts and hold his own. His ideal spot is the lock down job on the 3rd tall defender. He's good at that.

Adcock Clarke Patfull

Golby Merrett Docherty

Crisp Rich Mayes

Pappy Lisle Zorko

Bewick Brown Green

Leuie, Moloney, Rockliff

Raines,Karnezis,Longer,Redden (In ..Lisle,Clarke,Longer,Crisp,Karnezis Out… Martin,Mcgrath,HanleyHarwood,Mckeever

Emergencies Yeo ,Polkinghorne,Harwood

Interesting. Crisp ahead of Yeo & Harwood? I like Crisp, not sure where he sits though in regards to selection.

Hanley will benefit from a week off and come back hopefully 100%. He is currently our best player. For me the IN's : Karnezis Lester Crisp OUT : McGrath (inj) Hanley (sus) McKeever (omit).

Karnezis needs to play every week. Play him thru the midfield where he gave us great drive and run in the pre season and he can pinch hit up forward for periods. Lester to play down back. Demons don't have a tall fwd line - especially with Clark out. McKeever not up to AFL standard yet but worth persisting with - at least he has a go. I would give Crisp a run. Showed signs last year. Is tall and quick but needs work on disposal but anyone with genuine speed in our club needs to be looked at.

I would be tempted to play Banfield due to the pace he brings, but he has frustrated me so much over the years. Does anyone else think we need to start playing Josh Green thru the middle more. he has pace and good skills.

I would think this is Martin's last chance. ACorn is a better option and Lisle is worth playing to see how he goes again. My big worry is having Brown and Lisle in the same forward line - the opposition backline will be streaming out with ease.

Would just play Papa and Brown as the key forwards think Papa could be our next Bradshaw, I know it's big wraps but I think the kid has a lot of talent. Playing Banfield, Green, and Bewick as the small forwards and resting Rich, forward to break the tag. Karny, needs to play in the midfield and resting forward when needed to can kick goals . Hoping Voss plays Polkinghorne in the backline/wing to replace Hanley. Was also thinking of playing Merrett forward as Clark isn't playing
In; Banfield, Karnezis, Polkinghorne
Out; McGrath (injured) Hanley(Suspended) and Martin (Omited)

I want Banfield back in the team, he makes his mistakes quicker than any one and his speed allows him the second effort to tackle (or to make another mistake). Most of our players such as Harwood and Golby just aren't reactive enough.

The only problem is that both Voss and IIRC Kerr both have said that Paparone is not a key forward, but rather a hard leading player that will operate between half forward and half back. Could be wrong, but I'm sure I have read comments to that effect.

FB. Adcock Clarke Patfulll
HB. Rich Merret Docherty
C. Green Karnezis Zorko
HF. Mayes Lisle Paperone
FF. Banfield Brown Berwick
R. Rockcliff Luey Moloney

I/C. Yeo, Golby, Redden, Raines.

Sub. Longer

Ins: Banfield, Lisle, Yeo, Clarke, Karnezis

Out: Martin-omitted, Hanley-suspension McKeever-Omitted, Harwood-omitted, McGrath-injured

Main Points:
- Rich to half back to lose the bloody taggers and give us quality delivery and penetration out of our back line. The Doc and Rich would be awesome. This could become our launch pad.

- Let's get Clarke in. Surround him with old heads in Patfull and Adcock. Drop McKeever. Lets get a season under his belt.

- Green in the middle for pace, more skill and more "see ball get ball" attitude.

- Banfield moves into Greens old spot. Injects pace around Brown. This guy at his best is very damaging and at the least adds excitement. Cornelius could be a third tall instead but we'd have no forward pressure.

- S. Martin made no impact and Lisle can mark a ball a lot better. A step down in rucking, but a big step up in contested and lead up ball.

- Yeo has played some very good games in his short career. He just provides more upside than Harwood

- Black given another week in the reserves. I want him to be 100%.

Karnezis back in gives us more xfactor and run and carry through the centre. Awsome with green and zorks around him.

- Redden, Raines, Golby off the bench provides serious fire power where needed

- Longer as the sub. Replace Lisle at 3/4 time if Lisle is quiet or Luey needs a rest. Gives us something very different in the final quarter and allows him to run extra hard

Putting Rich on half back is a bad idea IMO. This week I watched his off the ball work, particularly when his opponent has the ball and it's really lazy. He doesn't even run to the player to corral or provide pressure, a couple of times he basically just started jogging off in the direction the player was about to kick instead of keeping his man accountable.

He isn't going missing just because of a tag, he is going missing because he's waiting outside rather than deciding to win his own ball or create his own opportunities.

He isn't alone in this crime either, he has plenty of accomplices doing the same stuff.

Can someone answer what the matter with lester is and how long before he is available for selction, He doesnt appear on any injury lists, would really love to see him get some matches verry soon,

Bringing banfeild in and moving greeny into the middle is a interesting move, and could add that pace in the middle we need.

What is the status on Goose. The best I could find was TBA and that was on the 15th.

All I know is that Lester was injured for 3-5 weeks. Read it in a paper
