If the Richmond medical says that Vlaustin isn't going to miss any games then you could argue that it wasn't severe. If he's going to miss football then it's severe every day of the week.

His efforts as a forward at Peel have been average and that is being kind. Was a pre-season game and vs Bulldogs. Looked much more at home in defence vs Claremont.

Many won’t agree with me but Davies is ahead of McDonald.

I’d favour Draper playing forward/Ruck. Pearce, Cox, Chapman can cover whatever talls Melbourne have. Likely Draper would play on a small anyway.

Jordan Clark can play small defender on Pickett. Wagner if fully recovered from his calf could come in. Otherwise I’d bring in Narkle as sub and play Dudley as full time small forward.

I would rather have Amiss as the back up ruck rather than have Reidy in the team. He needs to actually show something in the WAFL before he gets another AFL game.

V Gawn or Van Rooyen? Not happening. Reidy can take JVR easily. Melbourne have no second ruck, so can afford to play him.
Amiss need to step up now with Voss out.

Not sure what your argument is, to be honest. If they don't have a second Ruck than Reidy is overkill and Draper is fine. I don't mind if they play Reidy but it doesn't seem necessary if Darcy pulls up ok. Hopefully it would only be for a week. Draper did ok against Nank, actually. Small sample size though.

I think people suggesting Reidy just put all rucks in 1 bracket in terms of key fwd ability and think "he could do a job fwd-ruck". There's levels to it. Look at the WAFL marking numbers. Genuinely can't comprehend how he started as a fwd.

The gap btwn Reidy and prime Zac Clarke in terms of fwd ability might be bigger than the gap btwn Voss and Treacy.
