Don't think Narkle has either of those tbhAnd the others aren't ready
Narkle will provide skill and pace
He brings a mature body though

Wait what? Sandi's missing toe rucked a bit last week?He rucked a bit last week. As did Draper. Not saying I agree with it, but I think it will happen the next 2 week.
Think he is too slow to ruck nowadays (atleast against the Dees second ruck), if we could park him FF then I'd pick him but we can't, reckon Draper will be better suited in the ruck.Cox goes forward. Simple. Melbourne have a short forward line. JVR and probably Petty.
I agree in principle, however it is likely Gawn will ruck for more minutes than Darcy will.Part of me thinks that the backup ruck for Melbourne will be Van Rooyen, a forward. If this is the case, then it seems to make sense that if Draper is running with him all day, he can follow him into the ruck as the backup ruck; or play on him in whilst in defence, with Cox and Pearce chipping him when/if required.
Use Voss' spot to bring in Dudley into the 22 and / or Erasmus into the 23.

So we could cash in?Cox goes forward. Simple. Melbourne have a short forward line. JVR and probably Petty.
If Reidy isn’t preferred, then Draper can be second ruck v JVR. Cancel both out and Draper will probably be on Van Rooyen down back anyway.Think he is too slow to ruck nowadays (atleast against the Dees second ruck), if we could park him FF then I'd pick him but we can't, reckon Draper will be better suited in the ruck.
Would love to see how Drapes goes forward
You're not often wrong Quaz, but you are right this time!Rumour has it Kossie is secretly conflicted about playing against his future club, as his heart grows more purple by the minute. Bowing out, too much emotion for him to take. You heard it here first, from an ITK (Idiot Taco Killer)![]()
Kill all the tacos you like Quazar2, I'm a burrito man myself.Rumour has it Kossie is secretly conflicted about playing against his future club, as his heart grows more purple by the minute. Bowing out, too much emotion for him to take. You heard it here first, from an ITK (Idiot Taco Killer)![]()

My tasty sauce corroborates.
As an ITK you would like my sauce.

Did you just offer your special sauce to Quaz?
For fear of derailing the thread:Did you just offer your special sauce to Quaz?
Yes, enough of this puerile side-tracking nonsense. Here, let me assist you.Getting this thread back on track...
Cox is a better forward option than omac. Why would we send Omac forward? It doesn't make sense.
Oscar played backline against Claremont (ie week before). He was actually quite decent in backline as KPD. Ollie Murphy played reserves. Oscar played forward in the last PS game. In the two games he played forward he was terrible.I’m not a member of the Oscar
McDonald fan club (nor do I give a shit about Lachy reid). Just think his selection makes sense. I watched peel, and the week before. McDonald was the least bad of the tall forwards (riddle being comfortably the worst). Was a dirty day for peel as you would know. Form is one thing anyway - McDonald can play afl footy.
I don’t think a treacy and amiss two pronged forward line works - Darcy will rest big minutes in the bench and not forward. The other options are Reid (not a fan) and Davies (not a forward), or swinging forward an established defender. I personally don’t like that and prefer to play a dependable citizen in McDonald.

Yeah I like this move.Oscar played backline against Claremont (ie week before). He was actually quite decent in backline as KPD. Ollie Murphy played reserves. Oscar played forward in the last PS game. In the two games he played forward he was terrible.
I can see a world where he plays backline and Draper goes forward and ruck relief.
From what I’ve seen of Oscar as forward it would be terrible move off terrible forward form to play Oscar as forward. Makes zero sense promoting someone with zero form (liability even) as a WAFL forward up to AFL forward.
Hang on, what happened to Murph? Have I missed something? So getting the thread back on track...
Draper forward with the second ruck chop out and OMac back makes sense to me. He could be a nightmare match up and also has shown more strength this season so shouldn't be moved around too easily.
The other worthwhile option is to bring a smaller running defender in and have Draper move forward.
I hope Murph recovers and gets up for the game. Would be fitting for him to kick three in his first game at the G!
I am waiting to see what the selectors know about omac that we dont?Getting this thread back on track...

Apart from starting Duds as sub last week, it's not been too bad.I am waiting to see what the selectors know about omac that we dont?
Has anyone else noted how well our recruitment/development/selection has been going lately?
