Apeness out, but please do not bring in Hannath. Brisbane rucks West & Martinsnd aren't stocked with talls at either end so I think Tabs & Dawson could pinch hit this week.

No other changes.

Out: Apeness, Suban
In: Morabito, Grey

Don't necessarily think Apeness will be replaced with another tall as we were top heavy in forward anyway. Clarke's neither an improvement there or in the ruck - but a solid game tomorrow might earn him a spot anyway.

From everything I remember from Suban tonight he got pinged for HTB a few times, smothered off the ball and did his rugby thing a bunch of times.

Don't need to say what's been said ad infinitum - but sheeeish compared to the classy agility shown by some of the youngsters it's getting beyond embarrassing now.

I though suban is pretty good.

Ueber for Apeness
Langdon/Grey for Suban whichever one knocks down the door

someone for someone who is injured because lets face it, it is 2016 so we will have an injury

Suban had a Jekyll and Hyde game, off the ball he did everything perfect with pressure acts and notched a game high 9 tackles. With the ball he got caught a few times and smothered. Works so hard and all his good work comes undone.

His disposal efficiency was also 93%. He's had plenty of bad games this year, but this one wasn't one of them.

If you guy think Ross going to drop suban , go and dream for another week , let's be realistic that not how Ross select his team.

He played reasonably well, pretty much the whole team did. Most players were up 25 percent or there abouts too, but we did play shell shocked witch's hats after the first 20 mins so there needs to be some perspective.

I'm going for the perspective that our blitzkrieg turned them into shell shocked witches hats.

Two untouchable players from Team selection committee . ( D.pearce and Chris mayne).

Maybe Clarke/Mammoth for Apeness
Woyld be great to get something like Langdon for D.Pearce... even Mz or Deboer for Suban.

Tanner Smith for an unlucky Apeness. He can pinch hit it the ruck, run the game out and crash packs to take marks.
Like for like.
Hopefully no other changes needed.

Hey meima maybe its time to let go of the idea that Ross is inflexible and stubborn with his team selections. I've criticised him a fair bit in the past and particularly last year for this but this year everything is on the table. We've seen him relegate DeBoer and Mzungu, Suban has been dropped as has Sutty, 2 players that he has persisted with beyond what some consider reasonable. He's brought Apeness back after 2 years of injury with only 4 WAFL matches. As Ross himself has said a bit recently, "I deal in reality" so when the reality was that we were undefeated after 10 last year he had some justification for keeping in players that were getting the job done.
The reality is we are trying to win games of footy and that players such as Suban and Mayne are playing ok footy. Both did some disappointing things last night but they both did some good things too. Suban was hard around the ball and did some nice things linking up play while Mayne seems to be marking strongly again and creating opportunity around goal.

Personally I'd like to see either Uber or Morabito get a start for Apeness. Hasleby said on radio yesterday morning he things Morabito is a couple of weeks ago from getting a gig and I hope this is true while Uber has been showing enough in the WAFL to suggest he could be a find and this is the time to see if he can show that potential at the next level.

As much as I have been critical of Suban, he did play exactly the way you described. Mayne, apart from his goal kicking and occasional brain fades, has never been as bad as what people have made him out to be.

The pity about their performances last night is that the opposition was pretty putrid and Suban, in particular, has shown he simply does not have any real ability when playing against any form of opposition which makes him accountable for his poor skills and decision making.

that is, unfortunately, spot on.
