Lulz.

Out: Green - unfortunate, took some good marks but what happened to the amazing goal-kicking skills? Well over the hill Greeny, sad times.
Tapscott - likely suspension, very late hit on (?) Fasolo

In: Bail, Couch... or maybe Davey

Sylvia suffers from being played in the forward line too much, but I thought he was OK today. Should hopefully see some more midfield time next week - rotate him with Howe, surely.

While Morton made some glaring errors, I was happy the way he tried to run the ball and attacked the footy.

I can live with his skill errors for now if he's putting in the effort and he is so I'd stick with him for now.
I can't cop them, not as frequently as Morton dished up today, and in key moments too.

Out: Green, Morton.

In: Couch ?

Well if we are talking errors then Nicholson can't be on anybody's good list because he fluffed 2 or 3 chances early on that could have had us rolling instead of being 4 goals down in the first quarter.

Never seen a bloke forget which foot is his "strong" foot so often and then do nothing but wait to be tackled.

It's unfortunate that our two of our best/most consistency performers at Casey are Couch and Davis. Couch is blocked by too many similar types in the midfield, and Davis would only come in at the expense of Rivers/Frawley/Sellar, which on current form wont happen.

Out: Green, Tappy (suspension)
In: Martin, got 4 goals in the seconds, needs to be brought back in the side as he's certainly in our best 22.
Maybe Bail

IN: Davis (Deserve's his chance), Martin (Jamar is struggling and he can kick goals)
OUT: Tapscott(Dont know how his record looks but he could get a week), Green (Seven said he may have a hip flexor issue).

Really looking forward to Tynan getting back after the bye.. really like the kid

I saw that too. But I only saw it happen once today.

Nicho's turnovers did/do not stand out as glaringly to me. Perhaps it's because he often wins his own ball and therefore usually doesn't have as much space around him when he fluffs it. While Morton often appears to have a lot of time and space just before he puts it down the throat of an opponent.

In fact I've said a few time this year that when Morton has time to think about his kick he usually stuffs it up. When he is acting on impulse he usually does fine.

Every midfielder made errors today. Morton's tend to be highlighted due to the obsession with calling him on every mistake he makes, while everyone gets a free pass.

Out: Tapscott (if suspended) Green
In: Bartram Bail

Especially the one everyone detested so much, in the first quarter I think. Yes, terrible turnover, but Watts' lack of shepherding was equally disgraceful - half-arsed effort that put Morton under the pump via the pressure from the guy who Watts should have taken out of the equation.

Trust me, that is not the case with me. Morton has made plenty of mistakes in every game this year, yet I have praised him for his improvement.

A couple of his turnovers today were just worse than the average clanger. That is why I am focusing on them. It isn't my obsession with his mistakes.

I love the hypocrisy on this board. Have a bad word to say about Jack Watts and World War III breaks out yet Cale constantly cops it despite not being anywhere near our worst today. Yes he made a couple of errors but his endeavour was great as it has been all season and he gave us a bit of run.

Hopefully people lay off him for a while.

Out:
Morton - I like the kid, but he just has so little intensity. The pressure does show. Then again, I don't know whether dropping him will be productive, so this is just a maybe.

Green - Remember the hill? You ran clean *through* the thing last year.

Tapscott - Suspended, underwhelming AFL footballer right now.

IN:
Couch: I think it's time to acknowledge he can play in and in the F50 and give him a go.

Martin: I don't know where he fits, but another target wouldn't be amiss.

Bail: Should be fit.

If Cook kicks another bag of 3 or 4 i wouldn't be suprised to see him come in for Green. Tappy will obviously go so Bail comes in assuming he's fit.

I'll agree that Morton's 2nd half was poor but his first half i thought was quite good... wont be phased either way if he does or doesnt play against GWS. Martin and bail should definitley come in... would expect bartram would come back if fit.

i think Davis will probably make his debut...

Tappy and Sylvia could both be suspended. Tappy most likely, Sylvia did a late hit on a Collingwood defender in the last that should have been a free but wasn't paid; with his record he could easily get a week if they have a second look.
On that basis:
Out: Tapscott; Sylvia; Green
In: Bartram (if fit); Bail (if fit); Martin; maybe give Couch or Davis a run?
Do Casey play next week? May revisit my post following the reports from that game.
